The Alchemy Guide: Site Info
Contributors

Many thanks to all those listed below. Without their contributions --both directly and indirectly-- the Alchemy Guide would be much less useful. If I've forgotten to list anyone here, please let me know so that they can be added as soon as possible. Any omissions are the result of inhaling too many reagent fumes, and is not meant maliciously.

Sie Ming:
Creator of the Alchemy Guide, He disapeared in early 1999. Hopes one day that a potion will be named in his honor. Unable to stay away, he has been spotted recently in and around Moonglow.

Fenwick:
Serves as Maintainer of the List (of alchemists and assassins). He has been with the alchemy guide from almost day one, and has worked on nearly all aspects of the site in that time. From Graphics to Databases, his effort and dediction are appreciated by many alchemist.

Szandor:
Serves as Chief Historian here at the alchemy guide, and will probably move into other areas as time goes by. You might also know him as: Shefton or Anton LaVey.

Drifter:
In addition to serving as the "Maintainer of the FAQ", Drifter also wrote the Tinker Trap article from the Alchemy Essays section, and spends countless hours answering questions on The Alchemy Forum (he posts more in a week than most alchemists post all month).

Lietgardis:
Writes articles for the Professions: The Assassin section of the Alchemy Guide. You can read her Raising your Poisoning Skill article here. Lietgardis has also written the story: A Day in the Life of a Merchant which you will find in the Tales & Yarns section. Leitgardis has also recently signed on as an editor here at the alchemy guide, so you'll be seeing more of her in the future.

Malik Yagova:
Wrote a poisoning proposal for the Ideas/Proposals section, and coordinated the effort to determine the actual effects of the poison potions. He then wrote up those finding in the article called Poison Damage which is located in the Assassin Essays section. Malik is also serving as Head of Research here at the alchemy guide, and will be bringing various topics up for research in the future.

Dermott of LS Mad Scientist for the Knights who say Ni!:
has contributed articles to the Potion Tactics and Alchemist Training sections of the guide.

Azaroth:
Wrote the Agility Potion Tactics article in the Potion Tactics section, and also answers many questions on The Alchemy Forum. In addition, he is also in charge of the game wide alchemist guild the United Alchemists of Sosoria. They are working on having a presence on every shard. Stop by and see them sometime.

Milamber:
In addition to sending in a rather extensive list of alchemy tips that have been incorporated in to the FAQ, and offering some corrections to the Bugs section. Milamber was the first Head of Research for the alchemy guide. He also served as Editor in Chief while Sie Ming was away

Dark Lord Rich of Baja:
Has single handedly nearly doubled the size of the Potion Tactics section of the guide. In addition to that, Rich has also written an article for the Alchemist Trainig section.

Angel of Death:
Served as a sounding board when this site was just starting out, and has offered many suggestion to improve the site since then. AoD also created the potion graphics that were formerly used as links on the Potion Tactics and the Potion Basics pages [though the potion basics page has since been removed].

Tarod, Nemesis Alchemist, Order of Nemesis (OON):
Wrote the Alchemy Tips article on automatically regrinding the same potion that a mortar was previously used for (an undocumented alchemy feature).

Kita Talith:
Served as the Copy Editor for the Alchemy Guide when we were first starting out. If it were not for her, the alchemy guide would be even harder to read than it is. [note: Kita seems to have disappeared, anyone who knows here current whereabouts is encouraged to pass it on to us. new note: I did hear from her, she's still alive, just very busy.]

Jean Coutu:
Has sent in an article for the Alchemy Tips section of the guide, which has since been incorporated into the FAQ

Skerrit:
Started the ball rolling when he began updating the Magik Shoppe on UOVault. His original idea to update the alchemy page mushroomed into this Alchemy Guide.

The Sage Tower on CoB and The Mage Tower on UOVault
Much of the text on this site is derived from posts on those boards, and many of those who post to those boards have also written (or refined) articles for this site.

Spectre:
Inspired the layout of the Alchemy FAQ by his work on The Magic FAQ. [unfortunately the UOVault has removed that section]

Leviathan, Grandmaster Assassin (for hire) of Great Lakes:
Wrote the Showing Your Skill article from the Salesmenship section, and has also provided several corrections and additions to other sections of the site.

Gunther:
Added a tip about Fame/Karma to the Poisoning Tactics article

UCanCallMeAl:
Added a small spelling error to the Bugs page --that is to say, there is a bug that is a spelling error, not that he found an error on the bugs page. I fear such errors on this site are all too common.. (Hey, every little bit helps)

Rinoa (Grandmaster Alchemist Atlantic):
Wrote the Steps to a profitable Alchemy business article from the Salesmenship section.

Zephyr:
Wrote the first story to be included in the Alchemic Tales section. It's a nice peice entitled Alchemist in a Dungeon. Also worth noting is that I included it without his permission, so I hope he is not upset.

Vex Mantra (aka Brask):
Has written two stories that we stole from The Alchemy Forum and put in the Alchemic Tales section. I don't even think he knows they are there yet. Lets see how many more we can post before he notices. Vex also posted an update to the night sight potion tactic.

Wanderer:
Has written a series of rather well written stories that you will find in the Alchemic Tales section. There are, at present, three tales written under the main title The Alchemist Re-Emerges.

Malakai Kincaid:
Wrote a story you will find included in the Alchemic Tales section. It's entitled The Braggert's Tale.
