Item Insurance

For a fee of 600 gold (per each item you wish to insure), your equipment can be insured against death. When you die, all of your insured items remain with your ghost. When you return to life, your insured items will return with you. Each time you die, you will need to renew the insurance on your items. Stackable items will not be able to be insured. To insure items, single left-click on your character and select "Toggle Item Insurance" from the menu. Then click on each item that you want to insure. If you click on an insured item, it will remove the insurance on that item.

Players also have the option of auto-insuring their items upon death, by single left-clicking on their character. From the menu, you can then choose to have all of your items auto-insured, so that you don't have to re-insure each item when you die. With auto-insurance, any item that you had previously insured will be re-insured upon resurrection (assuming you have the funds).

When someone is killed in PvP combat, their "auto renew item insurance" will be charged at a reduced rate, which will be one half of the normal pricing (300gp per item).

When someone is killed in PvP combat, one-half of whatever the losing player paid to insure their items will go into the bank box of the person who struck the killing blow.

Tip: If you wear some arcane clothing and insure that, you will always have some reagents to quickly heal yourself without having to return to your corpse first.
