| Shirak grew up in a small
village called Paws. A once thriving little community of
honest working folk. Just a short ride south of Britain,
Paws was little known save for its Inns and Taverns. Now,
in these times, there is little left of Paws, save but a
few half forgotten memories. Shirak's Father Kyle was a
Bartender of the infamous Cat's Lair tavern. While
working, Kyle learned many stories from passing-through
adventurers. One day deciding to seek any truth to all
these tales, Kyle set out in search of easy wealth.....
never to return to his family again. Shirak's mother was
a master with the needle and thread, and Shirak remembers
many a night sitting in front of the fireplace with his
mother waiting for his father to return. Learning his
mothers ways while they sat in hope. Finally at the age
if 16 Shirak left Paws to seek out information about the
whereabouts of his Father. Knowing nothing of the world
save for what his mother taught him, we was quick to
learn that the outside world had many dangers. While
wandering the lands of Britannia, Shirak picked up many
skills in order to stay alive. One in particular, was
"hiding". As he had nothing to his name other
than the well kept clothes on his back.
Many cycles of Briannia's moons came and went with
very little or no evidence of his fathers whereabouts.
His search almost came to an abrupt end when from out of
nowhere, a man dressed in dark ringmail almost took
Shirak's life. Left for dead just off the road, Shirak
was found by a wandering healer, who took Shirak under
his wing, and taught him the Healer's ways. Shirak stayed
with the healer for some time, picking up even more
skills to aid him in his quest. Heading back towards
Paws, he was shocked to see the town gone!! And to this
day still doesn't know the entire story.
Now, at the age of 34, Shirak continues his search for
information leading to his father's whereabouts. Many
rumors have passed Shirak's ears, most, telling of an
Innkeeper from Paws being slain by Lizardmen on the isle
of Valor. Refusing these rumors as impossible, Shirak has
vowed never to stop searching until he finds some proof
of his father's death.
Today, he continues his ongoing search for his
father......
