I've always liked dungeon calls since we glow and I get to see everyone running around and monsters and pks chasing people and I just get to watch safely. I can always keep up with the action by popping to the person who called. While the two stories I'm telling both were in a dungeon.
The first was someone called complaining about the spawn so I went over and they died because of too many rats and harpies, my little brother was watching because it was only my second day as a counselor and we're both into UO. He started laughing. They kept on yelling for me to get their stuff back. While I was new at the time so I didn't know I could just leave, I kind of thought I'd leave when all parties involved kind of agreed it was time to leave, they obviously weren't done yet. So I asked in IRC (can I put that?) a more experience counselor to come help me with the call. I ALT-TAB back to UO to see about 10 other counselors at my call. The dungeon was well lit to say the least and we all lined up as the callers suggested and they took pictures. The callers stopped yelling and thanked us immediatly afterward.
The next story I entitle, A Day in the Life of a PK. I have never pked in my UO career and always thought it was mean and cruel. Well, about a week after a became a counselor I got a point of view from the other side. I got a call from someone complaining about the spawn. I go there and am delighted to appear in a dungeon. I start hoping that some pks will show up. I start talking to the callers about the spawn and I see someone walk on screen. I hit all names hoping that they are red. They're blue, I glance at my caller and his group and they're red. Immediatly I see two of them say words of power for paralyze and the rest do e-bolts, boom he's dead. I continued talking to the whole group because all of them have questions and got to watch them pk a lot of people and I have to admit, it was pretty funny, but I still haven't pked anyone. : )
