The day had arrived. I had been robed and inducted into the mystical powers of the smurf. After some stumbling first attempts I was away and running. Now being a downunder Smurf (hence the name) I generally counsel in the early hours of the morning. Little help is available at this time but this was my first day and I was eager to work.

I attended a call where a future bride and groom wished to arrange their wedding. Taking my time, I carefully transcribed all the details into the requisite email. I managed all this while staying in role with thees and thous. Finally all details were compiled and had been sent off to the SRC. I wished the future couple well, bowed a lot, spoke some lovely words of future happiness, waved..and promptly carted the groom off to jail!!

Oh my...my face was bright red. I apologised profusely. He was really nice about it. I said I would return him..then realised that I couldn't. Eventually I figured out how to release him from jail back to town.

A week later I happened upon a call from them. They were very nice and laughed with me over the incident. At the time I was totally mortified but can laugh about it now. :)
