Icy Rune Keep

From humble beginnings I started on this shard back in September 2000. From a small "matchbox" house, near Britain, which I bought with my first four days of hard mining and smithing to a keep at the southern end of the Arctic Isle
The Icy Rune, as I called my keep, is the home to an extensive Rune Library, housing dungeon levels, all NPC locations, player vendors and many treasure map locations. The chests hold a collection of rare and special items that I like people to be able to see. As I write this aprroximately 7,500 people have visited the library since it first opened in December 2000. The library was compiled by Lord Magic (Mage / Scribe), Lakuna (Treasure Hunter) and Ivo of Ice (Mad character that goes to low dungeon levels for instant death)
The First Floor houses the Main Hall where meetings of the Guardians of Nordkapp (our village) are held. Here we see Mr Lovegrove patiently waiting for a poison to wear off
The Blacksmith's Workshop. This has taken many reincarnations over the months. Smithy (GM Smith) works here preparing armor for the Guild Warriors
The Carpenter's & Tinker's Workshop. Again utilized by Smithy (Master Carpenter & Tinker) making most furniture items and deeds. I decided to 'block' the entrance to the balcony as it gave the area more or a "room" feel rather than a "corner space". My Archer (Brendan Perry) also uses this area to make his bolts and arrows, thus keeping all "woodworking" items in one place
The Magic Corner. Again I blocked off the access to the rear balcony to make a "room" from a "corner". This is the work area for Magic (mage) and Mr. Lovegrove (alchemist & poisoner)
Ye Olde Tailor Shoppe. The return of Smithy (GM Tailor too) making clothes and leather armor for the Guild
The Garden of Arcane Delights. My bard (Dead Can Dance) loves to sit here and play his music
The cellar. This is where we train certain strength and dexterity skills on the dummies and locked boxes
Ivo's kitchen. My Fisherman (Ivo of the Seas, GM Fisher & Chef) wanted an area that was ergonomic. Plenty of worktop space and a nice clean floor!
