[EM Event] Attempted Murder!

Attempted Murder! Professor Grimm wanted to meet us all at the counselors hall in Britain. Many people came. After defeating Golgari it was time to put a end to this chapter. The Professor wanted to destroy the Limbus and after that we would go have a celebration at the Beer garden in Moonglow. Grimm wanted to waste no more time and opened a gate to the Limbus. The professor seem to bit embarrassed to tell he could only find one way to close the limbus. With a huge explosion! He had placed several boxes around the limbus full of black powder. We all took a few steps back when the professor ignited the fuses that would set of the black powder. Several huge explosion happened around the Limbus. The sound of the explosion must have been heard all the way to the other side of Sosaria! When the smoke cleared the limbus was gone. Pleased with the result Professor grimm invited us for a well deserved party at the Moonglow Beer garden. He thanked everyone for all the help on stopping Golgari and the many strange creatures they had to defeat over the last months. It was a glorious day. The people deserved this celebration. People where laughing and dancing and a lot of alcohol been past around. While everyone had a good time ,someone gave me a message to go home for a important guild meeting. It would only take a short time. In the meantime the stranger in the black hooded robe appeared at the Beer garden. This mysterious guest been seen before. One of my friends Alia thought she recognized this person. But the stranger kept hiding her face. But then things turned dark. She stood only a few steps away from the Professor. She turned to him and with a deep voice she said: "GRIMMMM". The professor remembered seeing her before and he asked what she wanted from him. "Llew netsil ton od uoy , Grimm!" the cloaked figure replied. The professor shook his head and told her he did not understand her. "Nossel a hcaet ot emit!" The stranger took a few steps forward to stand right in front of the professor. "Dne ot gniog si snamuh of emit eht!" Her eyes glowed red and the professor started to scream "NO! STOP!" Before anyone could realize what was happening the stranger draws a golden dagger and stabbed Grimm in his chest. The guests where shocked what happened right in front of there eyes. Before they even could capture the assassin she recalled away. Only moments later i arrived back at the beer garden seeing the professor laying down on the ground. What happened here? Many people surrounded the professor. There was a lot of confusion going on. Then a female elf arrived. Elesil Daelwon. She is a reputable investigator. She came to see what happened and started to ask questions to the guests. Some of the guests where to drunk to even recall what happened. But some guests seem to be clear about it. "Some evil looking woman draped in dark shrouds. She spoke in a odd tongue...noone understood until it was too late..." said Sir Devin Vanzil. I went to see Alia and asked her what she saw. But she was clear to me. "Lady Dark Angel stabbed him!" I can not believe that D.A. would this kinda assassination. Its not her style. But how can i ignore what Alia said to me? She knows her. She hunted with her for many years. But the Dark Angel i know never worn black. She wears a golden armor. And i can sense her evil karma when she is around.I don't sense her now. I did not heard from her anymore after the last encounter in Drachental where she failed to destroy the town. We had her under control for years...Did we loose the control? Elesil checked Grimm body again. To her surprise she saw that Grimm was still alive. She hurried and with a magical spell the transported Grimm and herself to the hospital. Few minutes later she came back with news on the professor. She said Grimm was alive but that he was in a very deep sleep. Medics call this a coma. The wound from the dagger can be healed but the poison still runs trough Grimms body. Its not certain that they can remove this poison. The only way to help Grimm is to find the attacker and get the cure for Grimm. Elesil asked if the people wanted to visit Grimm at the hospital. Many of us wanted to see how his condition was. Poor Grimm, what did he do to deserve this? Our friend needs our help. Elesil ask us to leave quietly the room. She would do more investigation on the murder attempt. And will call on us when she finds out more. We all headed back home. What could have been a celebration turned into a nightmare. I tried to get some sleep but i kept thinking about what happened at the Beer garden. Maybe i should not ignore all the signs. First the book with the warning not to go after Golgari that was signed with the initials D.A. Then the golden dagger with the inscriptions "soon!". Alia was sure she recognized D.A. as the stranger. I have a hard time to accept this. Its not her style! Early this morning i went to have a look how the professor was. When i arrived just north of the Lyceaum in Moonglow i saw some guards standing in front of the hospital. The medicus that was with the professor said that the condition of the professor was still bad. The chance that Grimm would never awake from this coma if we don't find the antidote was big. He might even die! I don't know if Grimm could hear me but i made him a promise. We will find the person who did this and bring her to Justice. The medicus told me that it was time to leave. Everyone is welcome to visit the professor now and then but not too long. They will do everything to try to keep him alive. I left for britain to see if i can find Elesil the investigator. While i passed one of the guards house near the castle i noticed a wanted poster at the wall. Wanted for Murder??? But the professor was not death? Do they want to let them think the assassination was a success? The picture of the wanted person looked a lot like Dark Angel. Death or Alive? Ten million gold reward? If bounty hunters read this they going to try to kill her. We might need her alive for the antidote. If D.A. really did this they have no idea what they up against. I have to talk to the investigator to try to stop this hunt! Hunting her could result in a lot more deaths! I want to help the professor but i can not allow revenge! I will have a meeting at my house and send my scouts, Pegasus,Buzzz and Tom out to see if they can locate D.A. Maybe i can talk to her so we can solve this problem without more blood spilled! If this is really the Dark Angel i know...Then i hope the Virtues will protect us all! New Frarc, Drachenfels News reporter.

[Player Event] Nujelm Market.

Nujelm Market. My friend Anselm invited us for a market with fun and games. Captain Seoman took me with his ship to Nujelm. He was heading in that direction for some deliveries in Britain and Trinsic. When i arrived some of my friends where already there waiting for Anselm. They offered me something to drink and i gladly accepted. I was a bit hungry so i ordered me a fresh made Pizza. Just a little bit later Professor Grimm appeared at the market. After some time Anselm invited us to take part of a horse race around Nujelm. I am always up for some fun and also took place at the starting line of the race. Five rounds around a track that nicely placed around the town of Nujelm. Anselm counted down and of we go! I took a good start but after five rounds Merion won the race. He was the first to place him for the finals. But there would be three more chances for other racers to place them for the finals. After four races we found our four finalists. Merion. Gath Farlin. Lord Spirit. Zalazar. Shortly before the start of the finals the black cloaked stranger appeared behind us. The stranger's face was carefully hidden. The stranger seemed to be interested in professor Grimm. It kept staring at the professor. Our guest crossed the race track to stand right at the opposite side of the professor. It was like the mysterious figure wanted to have a good look of him. The finals started for fifteen rounds and the crowd was cheering for the racers. I thought i heard above all the noise the stranger said with a deep voice: "Snamuh". Then our mystery guest recalled away. The race was almost at the end and we saw the first riders turning around the last corner! Merion won! Lord Spirit came second. Zalazar was third. Gath Farlin came in forth. After a short break it was time for another little game. A drinking contest. I volunteered to take part of this event. There where five tables with each three bottles of alcohol on them. The person who drank all of them first was the winner! Aselm gave the starting signal and we started to swallow bottle after bottle. Halfway trough the tables i started to feel this was a bad idea for me. I should have asked Captain Seoman for this game, he would not had any trouble with it! It was a close race between us all but the results where in! Kleiner Matz was the fastest beer drinker! Gath Farlin came in second. And i took third place! I hope Aunt Stella won't see me coming home tonight. I might wake up with a big hangover in the morning! After the contest i order myself another pizza! Maybe this would help against all the alcohol in my blood. It was a lovely evening, and i thanked Anselm and everyone who came for the fun and games. I really need a goodnight sleep! [Em Event] The Final Battle!

The Final Battle! Professor Grimm was ready to reveal the name of our mysterious stranger. We been waiting for months for this. The professor wrote the final letter on the scroll. It was time to end the danger that this Golgari is bringing. The professor said he will open the gate to Golgari's hideout but that he would not join us right away cause the spell would take a lot of his powers. We went outside to some sort of shrine. Professor Grimm said some familiar words. I recognized them as the Armageddon spell! After the smoke cleared a gate was revealed. We arrived in a ghost town that looked a lot like Moonglow. But the town was mostly destroyed and deserted. Then Golgari appeared. He seemed not to be worried with the present of this army in his hideout. He even laughed with us. He was expecting us and prepared a trap. Then from all directions his minions appeared. We fought them before over the months. It was a long and hard battle! We came here to win this fight! And teamwork can beat them all! Golgari started to get a big mouth! That was exactly what we came to do! His followers where all defeated! It was time that Golgari took the matter in his own hands! We been fighting for hours and a lot of the fighters where getting tired. Professor Grimm appeared and came to see if he could help out a little. He froze Golgari for a short time so we could all take a small break and restock some items. The professor asked if we should take Golgari as a prisoner but most people wanted to see him death for all the pain and suffering he caused. Then Grimm released Golgari again and everyone attacked him. He was very powerful and it took perseverance and courage to fight him. But eventually what we came for happened and Golgari was killed! For everyone courage The professor gave us a special book. When you open this book you hear a voice telling you fairy tales stories. You will also hear the sound of birds when you walk near the book. It was a long day and The professor promised a celebration at the beer garden soon for this major victory! The celebration will come soon after he will close the limbus ones and for all. We all needed a good rest but some of us traveled back to the counselors hall to meet Borbarad. I was too tired to stay long but i noticed a strange golden dagger on the table. I asked Borbarad about the dagger but he said it was nothing to worry about. It must just some sick joke from someone. Before i left back to my home i took one more look at the dagger. I have a bad feeling about the golden dagger with the inscription "soon" on it. Something was familiar about it..... Maybe my tired mind was not thinking clear anymore! [EM Event] The Defiler!

The Defiler! A message came from the town criers all over the lands. The gargoyle Queen Zhah requested our assistance and asked for us all to gather and meet her at the moongate of Ter Mur. If the Queen needed our help we should not let her wait. A group of loyal adventurers where waiting at the gate when the she arrived. Queen Zhah: "Greetings adventurers. As many of you know, and for those who may not,many years a battle took place. No mere feud between common folk,this war was against a evil so wicked it threatened to destroy Ter Mur itself. Many fought and died in the struggle to defeat this horror,and to no gain did they forfeit their lives...for true victory over this foe never came. It was during this battle against the one known as The Defiler that my own daughter was taken. With the aid of other brood mothers the beast was stopped for a time, encased within a powerful magic. This stopped the destruction of Ter Mur. For a time. Now,the servant of evil stirs once more. With him comes rage - an anger so consuming i fear it not stop at the borders of Ter Mur but threatens all people of all lands. On this night i ask you to aid me in the fight against the Defiler. I prepared a potion,one which it is written in the ancient scrolls will strengthen my own magic against our foe. For a short time,the enemy will be weakened. This friends is where i beg your help,for its when the beast is weakened that we must attack. Are you willing to follow me,to destroy the Defiler and free my daughter Rhista!?" "For Freedom!" the crowd yelled. These people did not came to disappoint Queen Zhah. The queen took the lead of the party and moved them over the lands towards the teleporter that took them to the most south west island where the minions of scelstus roam. The demons turned on the group but it seemed that the Queen did not wanted to be distracted by them. She kept moving to a small spiral passage. We kept following the Queen trough this narrow place. Only minutes later we all arrived in the center of the island. There where the Defiler and the Queens daughter standing like statues. "Prepare for battle! I am releasing the Defiler now!"The queen yelled. What happened next was a tremendous battle that took place between the hero's and the Defiler! It took all we got to beat down this monster! Spells,arrows,music and loyal pets kept attacking the daemon. It was like fighting a war! Slowly the hero's where gaining the upper hand! The battle was so fierce i started to see strange things inside the void! But what we came for eventually happened. The defiler fell in battle! The crowd celebrated but the Queen had no time yet for that. She ran back to the center of the island. It was a moment she been waiting so long for. To free her daughter. It was another glorious day for the people of Sosaria. Another evil was defeated. "As you all helped me to defend the lands against the evil,and we made a great victory i have a small gift for you." A magical statue appeared. When we touched the statue a stone hand of the Defiler appeared. A reminder what we had to fight against. The Queen thanked us again for all the help before she left to her palace with her daughter. She was sure we would see her again if she needed us. New Frarc, Drachenfels News reporter.

[EM Event] Bloody Pirates!

Bloody Pirates! EM Borbarad wanted to test our skills with our ships. We came together at the counselors hall. We where divided in five ships with Captains and crew! The rules where simple and explained to all! No shooting until a sign we were allowed to do so. Only cannons allowed to be used, no player-to-player attacks Not allowed to repair the ship .. However you were allowed to heal your crewmen, should they take damage from cannons. The EM took us to our starting location at the docks in Papua in Felucca where we could prepare The ship for battle. He told us when we where ready to sail the ship north towards a well of ships. There we should wait for the signal for all ships where ready to engage in combat. But things turned ugly when two ships with pirates arise at the horizon! A group of feluccan residents were unwilling to recognize the validity of the event rules and attacked. Pleas from EM Borbarad fell on deaf ears, consequently the event was unable to follow the planned course. With regret it has been realized that the chaotic nature of Felucca makes it an unsuitable venue for organized activities The weary participants were deemed to be well deserving of the sash with which they were rewarded. Drachenfels Fishers Hall of Fame! Taken from the Drachenfels EM Forum: Deutsch: Willkommen in der Ruhmeshalle der Drachenfels Fischer. Hier werden die schwersten und seltensten Fische, welche jemals auf Drachenfels gefangen wurden aufgelistet. Wenn Ihr die original Fische bzw. Trophäen sehen möchtet, müsst Ihr unser EM Reward-Museum besuchen. (UOAM) 651, 1263 – 31° 43′N, 47°15′W Der Ausstellungsraum befindet sich im obersten Stockwerk und ist über Teleporter zu erreichen. Wenn Ihr Drachenfelser-Fischer seid und Ihr habt einen schwereren Fisch oder sogar einen Fisch den es im Museum noch nicht gibt, dann könnt Ihr euren Fisch ausstellen lassen! Wenn Ihr das möchtet, dann packt den Fisch (bzw. Krabben/Hummer) bitte in einen der Briefkästen, welche sich neben der Counselors Halle und/ oder direkt im Reward-Museum befinden. Ich werde versuchen die Liste bzw. die Trophäen einmal die Woche zu aktualisieren. Also könnte es einige Tage dauern bis euer Fisch ausgestellt wird. Wenn Ihr seht, dass einer eurer abgegebenen Fische nicht mehr Rekord halter ist und somit nicht mehr ausgestellt wird, könnt Ihr diesen gerne zurückbekommen. Hierzu hinterlasst mir bitte eine Nachricht in Form einer E-Mail ([email protected] ) oder ein Buch (im Briefkasten). In der Nachricht sollte der Name des Fischers stehen, sowie eure Hauskoordinaten. Bitte stellt einen Briefkasten auf, damit ich den Fisch dort hinterlegen kann. Leider habe ich im Reward-Museum nur begrenzt Platz, somit werde ich alle Fische die aus der Rekordliste ausscheiden, nach 3 Monaten löschen. Bitte behaltet das im Auge! [EM Event] A Giant Task.

A Giant Task. The Professor needed us one more time to find the last letter of the name of the mysterious stranger. The counselors hall was full when the professor arrived. He was pleased to so so many brave warriors to help him again with his task. Although the professor know about the warning message a messenger left last week from D.A. he did not seem to be worried about it. His focus was on the identity of this stranger and to stop him. Me personally i am more concerned about the professor if this message is really from the person i think its from. A tailor was missing and the professor had found a trail to it. But when he heard a loud noise and felt the earth trembling near he came to us for our help. It was time for a investigation. He opened a gate and we all follow trough it. We ended somewhere south of Dungeon Wrong. Only a few steps later we found something terrifying. It look like the arm of the tailor! It seems there was little hope that the tailor was still alive. A trembling sound seem to came at us and only seconds later a giant critter charged into the group. After a short battle with the giant critters we all moved more north wards. Sadly enough we found another body part of the tailor. And if that all was not enough more giant critters crushed trough the defenders of Sosaria. There was no hope left to find the tailor alive. But we can only imagine what thing has the force the pull someone in pieces like this. Our task was no longer to find the tailor but to stop this creature that killed the tailor. Almost near Dungeon Wrong we found what was left of the tailor. It was next to a huge tree. A loud noise came from the top of the tree. A giant jumped down and started to trow some of us all over the place. And if it things where not hard enough some evil twins appeared from all around us. We did not had to battle against this giant but also against our own evil twins! But we have been trough a lot of hard battles before and this was no difference. These valorous people know how to work together to defeat about anything they are up against. Courage,teamwork and perseverance defeated the giant. The professor quickly checked the corpse of the giant but to his surprise he could not find a scroll with the missing letter. But then it struck him that these giants never travel alone. But his words where just spoken when the ground was trembling again. It seemed that we had to deal with another giant. This giant had devastating and very explosive powers! After a heated battle the giant fell before our feet. The professor searched the corpse again and then finally found the scroll. Finally we had the last letter of the strangers name... but wait Professor Grimm did not want to tell us the final letter now. If anyone would say the complete name the stranger might appear and we would not be ready for him. The professor had to go back to his library to work on a spell to trap this stranger. When he was ready he would call on us ones again to make a end of all of this. He told us to meet Borbarad at the counselors hall. Borbarad showed everyone that some lucky people found some special dress forms. While everyone was still talking about the battle they just been trough, a hooded woman walked in the counselor hall. A moment of silence came over the hall. At a first look it was no one we seen before but its hard to see when she trying to hide her face. She moved to the back of the counselors hall at first and stood still for a moment. She seem to overlook the crowd. She move to the other side of the table and went to sit on the EM's chair. Normally no one sits on that place, its always been a bit of a sacred place. She slowly moved towards the podium near EM Borbarad. EM Borbarad wanted to know if anyone had more questions. Then the hooded woman asked: "Where is the professor?" Borbarad told that the professor was busy and ask why she wanted to know and who she was. She completely ignored the question and moved to the other side. Just before she wanted to leave she turned around to Borbarad and said: "This is between me and the professor,I will find him!". Then i noticed a red glow coming from under the hood. I only know one person with glowing red eyes. I know for certain this was D.A. herself. She walked out of the counselors hall. I ran as fast as i could out of the building but when i was outside she was gone. What does she want from the professor? I thought she was gone after her last defeat! I am worried about this and fear there is trouble coming. I know her too well.... I must talk to my brother and my aunt she has returned! New Frarc, Drachenfels News reporter.

[News] Meet and Greet!

Meet and Greet! We had a meeting with EM Borbarad at the counselors hall in britain. We had three important topics. - New name for the Counselors Hall. - Coming Events - Opening of the fish trophy room. After the joke to use “Imbissbude” as new name for counselors hall , EM Borbarad received a lot of reactions of people that did not like the name for it. But thanks to this sneaky way to get a reaction, EM Borbarad got several mails with suggestion with new names. These names are now available to be voted on. Go to Welcome… Willkommen… and choose your favorite. After a week the best remain and go to a second round where we all can vote for the final name for the counselors hall. Vote today! Next Sunday Professor Grimm will need our help again against the mysterious stranger. Personally i'm not sure if the professor should go on with this search! Before the meeting i saw a messenger with a note for the professor. EM Borbarad took the message from the mailbox. It seems to be a warning for the professor! I would take this threat very serious! A next event will be a pirate event in Felucca! The plan is that people write in there ships to fight other ships. You can select your own crew too. The only thing thats will be allow is to shoot each other with the ship cannons. The ship that last longest will be the winner. More details on that event will come soon. The Fish trophy room at the EM Museum is ready! Not all type of fish and Crab/Lobster been given so there is room for more. If you have a fish,lobster or crab that weights more then the one that is displayed of the same type then leave your own fish,crab or lobster in the mailbox at the counselors hall or in the mailbox at the EM Museum. The most heavy will be on display in the Museum. The event will never end! If you want to beat the current fishes or add a new one just check out the Museum.Use the shortcut gate that is in front of the counselors hall to go right away to the museum. Some fisherman left fish that are not with the best weight. If you want your fish back leave your fisherman's name with house coordinates (or rune) in a book and drop it in a mailbox and EM Borbarad delivers it back to you if you like. [EM Event] Red Brat!

Red Brat! Another Sunday evening and professor Grimm needed our help again with another escaped stranger that came from the limbus. If we could solve this problem we would be ones again a step closer to the identity of our mysterious stranger. It seems a little girl wearing a red cloak needed our help this time. Many people are here to help the professor again. He can always count on the heroes of Sosaria. It looks that the crowd who wants to help Grimm grows every time a little bigger. It starting to look like a small army! No time to loose to help the little girl. The professor opened a gate somewhere near the town of Yew. Only seconds after we arrived a pack of large angry wolfs attacked us. Good thing we came with so many people. The wolfs where very strong and aggressive. I hope no one going to catch rabies from them. We had to watch out from all sides. I know to well that wolfs attack in packs. I tried to watch out where i was stepping but at one point i was standing face to face with one of the big bad wolfs. I better not deal with one of these overgrown puppies on my own. So i ran back to our small army who even grow bigger during the evening! Can anyone find Waldo? *wink* We only made slow progress killing all these wolfs. But we moved closer to a little farm house south of Yew. More wolfs charged towards us but while most warriors where fighting them on a few of us ran into the farm. There we found a room with more wolfs and the girl in the red cloak. I think we reached our final destination. Its time to save the girl from the wolfs! Eventually we killed all the wolfs. But things seemed not what they appeared to be! The girl was furious we killed all the wolfs. She called us murderers! This was very disturbing. The big bad wolfs where her pets! We did not had to safe her from the wolfs...she was the owner of them! Then her anger showed the girls real face. This was no little innocent girl. She a full grown evil woman with tremendous powers. She started to turn on us with devastating spells. Good thing we came with so many. She was more then a handful. Several heroes where defeated by her powers. After a long battle the red hooded girl fell in battle. No one had expected this outcome. Even the professor was surprised by this happening. We could no send this girl back into the limbus like we did with the other strangers. But we had to stop her and her bad wolfs. The professor examined the corpse of the girl and found another scroll. Its one more letter to reveal the identity of our true enemy. Some of the heroes also found some strange looking statues. A nice collectors item. Back at the counselors hall professor Grimm have almost the complete name of our enemy. Only one piece of the puzzle is missing. We could try to find our enemy now or go after one more strange creature to be sure to have the full and correct name. Everyone agreed on that the final letter of the name had to be found first before we where going to face our enemy. The professor agreed with it and left to search for the last strange creature from the limbus. After that? Who knows what and who we are going to fight!
