[Report] Orc Base Destroyed; Big Bob Killed!

Orc Base Destroyed; Big Bob Killed! Fynn Barret arrived to a large crowd at 8pm near the West Bank of Britain. Fynn Barret: "We have a somewhat dirty job to do tonight." Sparrow: "I knew it, It's the sewers." Fynn Barret: "Indeed" He said tonight would be a good time to attack because its possible Orc Elders would be there.. Along with Big Bob. With orders brief, Accept no orc prisioners, He marched us off in the direction of the Sewers. The Sewer was completely full of Orcs, Egan seemed useless as a mage against them. Slowly we moved towards the back of the sewer, Orc Elders were waiting. In the large room at the back of the Sewer Wilaktug the Orc Elder was waiting, The warriors took him down as the mages were trying to get their target on the Orc. After finding Fynn Barret we returned back to the elder corpse and Black Arrow found a letter on its corpse. It read: *Marked* For Elders Only! Fellow Elders of the New Order. We are at a most critical junction in our campaign! Mistas has fallen; The mind Control Devices have failed and the JUka are no longer under our control. With them we have also lost the help of their formidable allies, the Dragons. To make matters even worse; one of our strongholds has been infected with a wicked virus. The virus affects even the strongest of us. Even with our most sophisticated airscrubbers we could not contain it. We had to abandon the place. Our militairy is crippled and our technogoly has failed... But there might still be a way! The goals of the New Order can still be reached. We may just have to wield a different sword... Remember the words of Ubulud: "Us Orcs did not always have a brain clever enough to concieve technogoly. So rather then believe in the power created by that brain. I believe in the power that created the brain!" I think we may have to reconsider his words... If we can control the power that created our brains; NOTHING will stand in our way! Signed: Almthu the Elder After the letter had been read Fynn Barret asked if anyone had seen Big Bob. Traveler raised his hand and a few others said they saw Big Bob in the lower sewer. Fynn ordered us down into the dangerous lower sewers. After saying the password 'Charvory' we walked down a lesser poison corridor. From there we went down a ladder into a harsher poisoned filled corridor complete with Acid Elementals. Down another ladder brought us into a large room filled with Orcs. We quickly searched the place for Big Bob. Suddenly Big Bob appeared and everyone attempted to get their way around the spiral path to reach him. Finally after a harsh fight Big Bob had been slain. Fynn then yelled for us to return to his tower in Britain for a debrief. At the guard tower Fynn re-read the letter we found on the Orc Elder. After he had read the letter a few people in the crowd mentioned the Mericles Necromantic Altar which had been found over the weekend. Fynn said he would meet up another time to discuss the Altar. He thanked us for the help and then retired for the night.

Questioning Ubulud At the Trinsic Jail a small crowd had gathered to question the orc Ubulud who we had found in the Orc Caves last Thursday. With Trinsic oddly housing several hundred birds this evening there were a few accidents regarding bird droppings before the questioning began. Ubulud was brought down from the Cells and the questioning began with Nathan. Nathan Hawke: You are known as Ublud? Ubulud: *Nods* I am Ubulud Nathan Hawke: And you speak common tongue also Ubulud: Yes, all my more clever brothers do. I believe it was passed down to us...By the creator *Speaks in reverance* Alyx Astarsis: why were you imprisoned ? Ubulud: The other Orcs imprisoned me because I do not share their goal Or their means. Alyx Astarsis: but why do you not, you are the same from the same place Ubulud: The other Orcs are ignorant. They believe technology is the key to power. But they are mistaken. You see, Technology is a product of the brain. Alyx Astarsis: explain further Ubulud: Us Orcs did not always have a brain clever enough to concieve technology. So rather then believe in the power created by that brain. I believe in the power that created the brain! I do not expect you to really understand this. Afterall, you are only human Alyx Astarsis: the creator made you therefore you are his product, a tool for him to use Ubulud: The creator gave us a superior brain. Must not the creator be even more powerful then that what he created? Alyx Astarsis: and who is the creator Ubulud: *Looks down* Nathan Hawke: Easy Alyx Ubulud: This we do not know. We are searching for the creator. But our superior brains are proof of his existance! Nathan Hawke: You say "we" as if ... Ubulud: I am not the only true believer, There are more among the Orc Faction. But they stay quiet....In fear of what may happen, I am living proff of that. Nathan Hawke: So a cult of orcs, a faction within the orc ranks? Irvyn: How many of you are there? Ubulud: There are only a few of us who see the truth. Soon they will see When their technology fails. Shimmering Blue: Ubulud, do you think your brain made by the creator and the human brains are similar? Ubulud: Orc brains are far superiour then your puny human brains Irvyn: You certainly have larger heads. Ubulud: *Taps his scull* Shimmering Blue: so you dont think we can be the product of the same creator? Ubulud: If the Creator created you... it must have been on his day off Nathan Hawke: *laughs* Alyx Astarsis: why you.... Shimmering Blue: *chuckles* Irvyn: Can you tell us anything about the Juka? Ubulud: The Juka, what do you want to know? They are yet another race inferior to us Orcs Irvyn: How did the alliance with the orcs occur? Ubulud: We used our technology to enslave them Shimmering Blue: hmm - but that technologie wasnt really invented by you Ubulud: It was Nathan Hawke: I believe these new orcs did build the machines Ubulud: It was developed and built by our engeneers Irvyn: Who trained the engineers? Shimmering Blue: its a product of your brain, given to you by the creator Ubulud: You don't understand.... our brains are far superior to yours. Constructing these devices isn't particularly hard. Alyx Astarsis: do you know how to make the machines ? Ubulud: I was never interested in technology Alyx Astarsis: aint so smart then after all Ubulud: I could have learned if I wanted to *Nods firmly* Irvyn: What did you choose to learn instead? Ubulud: I have been and still am in search of the Creator Alyx Astarsis: are you the leader of the cult Ubulud: There are too few of us to have a real leader. I was the most vocal member of my group Sean Llyonadhadd: Does that Creator have a name? Ubulud: We do not know the identity of the Creator Flame: how will you recognise the Creator? Nathan Hawke: Good question *wheels around* Ubulud: We will know him by his wisdom. And HE will know us Sandra: *laughs* Nathan Hawke: Are there any pictures of him? Ubulud: You humans really ar stupid are you? Shimmering Blue: what do you think are his intentions - why did he chose to create you? Ubulud: I do not know...When we find the creator he will tell us. Nathan Hawke: Alright Nathan Hawke: DO you know how you were created? Ubulud: My brothers were born from a machine. That is why they follow the way of technology. Flame: where is that machine? Ubulud: The location of that machine is a very closely guarded secret, Only the elders know this. Alyx Astarsis: where are the elders Ubulud: I only know the location of one Elder....Big Bob Nathan Hawke: And he is where? Ubulud: I told you this already. Last I saw him he threw me out of the Headquarters, The sewers below Britain. Irvyn: Are the other elders not in the Headquarters? Ubulud: They may be. Shimmering Blue: he threw you out for believing in the creator? Ubulud: Yes, The fool! Nathan Hawke: Ubulud I need to ask you a very blunt question. Does your cult or faction want to take over the lands and kill us humans? Ubulud: My group want to find the Creator and follow whatever purpose he has for us. Alyx Astarsis: who does Big Bob follow ? Nathan Hawke: He is an elder Alyx he makes the rules Ubulud: Big Bob and the other elders follow only themselves and technology. Irvyn: How do Big Bob and the other elders know what to do with the technology? Ubulud: They develop technology to aid them in reaching their goals. Their main goal is to cleanse the world of ignorant beings. Alyx Astarsis: including small brained orcs ? Ubulud: All stupid Orcs will be replaced eventually. For now they are still of us to them. Flame: do you know anything of the seed pods the orcs were collecting? Nathan Hawke: Good question Flame Ubulud: No, I don't know anything about seed pods, There are Orcs who do gardening though. Alyx Astarsis: ever heard of Mericles, there i said it Irvyn: *looks over at Alyx* It had to be asked, sooner or later. *looks to Ubulud* Ubulud: Mericles? Yes I have heard the stupid Orcs speak of him Flame: what do the supid orcs say about him? Ubulud: The stupid orcs tell tales of him Nathan Hawke: Because the new orcs werent around when Mericles was? Ubulud: I don't know. He's just a human.... he's of no concern to us. Shimmering Blue: maybe the creator is human Ubulud: Highly improbable. Irvyn: To return to the question Sparrow asked, who writes the orders? Ubulud: The elders write orders Ubulud: *Sighs* Is that about it with all the questions? Nathan Hawke: I think we should let him rest now With the questioning over the Trinsic guards took Ubulud back up to his cell. Duke Ivryn then asked Nathan about the diamond that we left in the Orc Caves on Thursday. Irvyn: Nathan, I believe Kendra should go and remove the curse diamond now. It has done its work, judging by the report I received yesterday. Irvyn: *looks to Kendra* Nathan Hawke: Kendra ? Kendra: *Nods* And at that Kendra and Nathan walked out of the city to remove the diamond.

[Report] Freeing the Juka from the Orcs

Freeing the Juka from the Orcs Fardorim arrived at the Counselor's Hall at 8pm and began. Fardorim: "I am pleased to see you all here, It seems you are indeed honourable creatures and true to your word." He was recalling the promise we made when we first found him. We would rescue the Juka from the Orcs. Fardorim: "I have flown over the city and I have seen five devices. These devices are heavily guarded and maintained by technicians. You must take them out and disable the devices." Sean Llyonadhadd: "How do we destroy them?" Fardorim: "The devices seem to require constant maintenance." Nathan: "So we kill the technicians?" Fardorim: "Indeed Nathan. Take away the maintance crew and the device will soon fail." With the briefing over, We headed outside and Nathan suggested we head to the Honesty Shrine. Hex cast a gate to a moongate and we headed for the Honesty Moongate to await further instructions. Once Nathan arrived he reminded us we were killing the Orc Technicians. We then headed out north towards Mistas. At the entrance to Mistas groups of Orcs, Dragons and Juka awaited. We fell back outside the city for a while until the dragons were slayed. We managed to slay 3 Orc Engineers inside Mistas. Once each Engineer had been killed the device it was guarding soon exploded. A device exploded in the south east corner of Mistas as we killed another Orc Engineer. Once the Engineers had been killed Nathan ordered us to kill the remaining Orcs in the city. Nathan then ordered us to the center of the town where Fardorim was waiting. On the way there I saw Duke Iryvn admiring the city. Fardorim thanked us for the help and confirmed the mind control devices had been destroyed. Fardorim then waved goodbye as he returned to watching over the Juka from the skies. Nathan thanked us for helping and said on Tuesday they would further question the Orc that is currently in the Trinsic Jail. EM Emile Layne confirmed that 25 items were on the Orc Enginers. 5 Masks, 5 Tunics, 5 Gloves, 5 Shields and 5 Hammers.

[Report] Planting the Cursed Diamond in the Orc Caves

Planting the Cursed Diamond in the Orc Caves After Queen Dawn had finished her announcements I headed over to the Counselor's Hall for the mission tonight. Nathan arrived and started the meeting, Tonight we were to leave the cursed diamond Trinsic found in the Orc Caves in an attempt to fight back. Nathan asked Kendra from Trinsic to explain what the diamond does. Kendra: "The box itself isn't the important part. Inside it, is a cursed diamond, with a necromatic curse of some power. What the box does, is limits its affect, so as not to be completely bad. Rather than affecting a wide area, it will be a smaller area, within the caves." Sean Llyonadhadd: "What means 'Not completely bad' ?" Kendra: "It means that it won't devestate the surrounding area, Only within the caves and the effect will be more a sickening." The Black Cobra: "We're going to deliberately bring pain and suffering to the orcs?" Nathan Hawke: "Yes are are." Nathan said we were going to leave it there overnight. Some members of the crowd argued it was unsafe to be left unprotected, Others were concerned about torturing the orcs. Nathan raised his voice and said no Orcs will be tortured and that this diamond had to be left there as a matter of necessity before the Orcs harm the humans any further. Nathan brought the arguments to an end and opened a gate to the Orc Caves. Inside the Orc Caves a mass of orcs were waiting, I managed to sneak by them with my Orc Mask whilst others who didn't have a mask began killing them. Inside the Orc Caves a prisoner was found! Oddly.. It was an Orc named Ubulud. After talking to him he said a few things: "Other Orcs put me here" "Me, I am not like the others" "No I see you humans kill other orcs" "Why are you here to kill Orcs?" "I am against ignorance" "But the other orcs.. They think technogoly is the way" "They put me in prison, Cause I am the only one who knows the real thruth!" "But the others do not see, The key to real power is not through mechanical devices" "They worship their technicians" "You are humans! Humans don't even understand technogoly" Nathan Hawke finally arrived and suggested we move him out of the Caves. Duke Ivyrn suggested the Trinsic Jail. Some Trinsic guards took Ubulud to the jails whilst the others and Nathan left for Mericles old cave. Saying the password 'Bubhosh mojo goth' we arrived to a waiting crowd. Nathan told them they were taking a captive orc to the Trinsic Jails and it won't be harmed. Nathan then opened a moongate to Trinsic for us to question the Orc further. In the prison Ubulud said a few further things: "I am just smarter than they are" "That is why Big Bob kicked me out" "Yes, Big Bob kicked me out and had me put in jail!" "Cause I am the only one who believes the real truth!" "They don't see... Orcs were not always smart. But now there are smart Orcs. But... How did they get these brains?" "Big Bob kicked me out of the headquarters. The Orc Stronghole underneath Britain." The crowd in the cell gasped as he said the location of the Orc HQ.. Under Britain! ----------------- At this point people split up, I decided to check the Britain Sewers and then the lower Sewer by using the password 'charvory' at the sign. In the lower sewer there were alot of Orcs so it is possible this is maybe the HQ of the Orcs - I was able to cross the broken bridge into the cavern below but there were only Crystal Elementals in there and the remains of a broken moongate. After searching the lower sewers I went back to the old Mericles cave and said another password to gain access to the Alchemist Orc Workshop. Having been there before I knew something was different.. It was full of orcs! I spoke to the alchemist and it mentioned something about a Black Clan of Orcs however I couldn't get any further than this.

Europa Chicken Fighting - trial run

The Astronomer (Sunday 22nd)

At 8 o'clock I gathered in Britain ready to hear what Fynn Barrett had to say. Unusually Fynn ran from the North of Britain and quickly opened a gate to a public moongate ordering us to head to Sacrifice near Lakeshire. Once we all arrived we found Nathradan standing by the moongate. Nathradan told us: "You are finally here! We need your help: Our town is under attack!" "Go quickly! We can't hold them off much longer!" When we arrived at Mireg the meer were being overrun by Juka from the north. We battled through the Juka slowly pushing them back further north. We arrived at the mountain passage way inbetween Lakeshire and Mistas and ran into an familar face, Nathan Hawke was running from Mistas and told us to wait. He told us he had heard about the trouble in Mistas and had came to investigate. Fynn told Nathan the queen requests Nathan at the castle immediately and he seemed convinced we were there to arrest him, However Fynn said that was not the case. Fynn agreed for Nathan to lead us to Mistas and the battle. "To the north" he yelled and we ran further through the mountain pass. After battling more Juka on the way to Mistas we arrived at the cities bridge. Nathan told us a note had been torn up and blown across the city, We were to collect as many pieces as possible to try recover what the note said. 5 pieces were found along with odd devices dotted around the city. They were very similar to the gate devices found in Yew and Trinsic a couple of weeks ago. Fynn gathered us at one device and we began reading the pieces of notes we found. The note mentioned 'planets'.. Unsure about this we decided to head to Moonglow to speak to the Astronomer at the Telescope. At the Moonglow Telescope an old old man was standing by the landmark. He requested we help him with his research. "Yes. I believe that such a moment is fast approaching. We will see many of these rifts appear." "Ahh you've seen it? The new rift? It is exciting and terrifying at the same time!" "Sometimes the planets are in alignment - this is a time of dread some say." Further talking to the Astronomer revealed an attack on all the Trammel Moongates TODAY! At 8pm on Monday the 23rd of November the Moongates all over Trammel will be attacked. Beware. If you wish to help in the battle to defend Sosaria meet at the guard tower south of Britain Bank, Trammel at 8pm UK Time (9pm European Time) tonight. -------------------------------------------------------- In other news the cause of the Newscriers still yelling about the Treasures of Tokuno becomes clear. They have only just woken up! Someone please tell this poor man in Cove the latest news. - Thanks to Traveler for pointing this funny item out!

Visiting Lakeshire to see Nathradan

We gathered at the guard tower in Britain and Fynn arrived at 8. He got straight to the point, his friend Nathradan had requested help at Lakeshire, Ilshenar. We went through to the Sacrific moongate and walked north to the meer city. We saw no sign of Nathradan but a note by him was found - It said: "The fighting has intensified. I can not wait for you any longer. Meet me in the passage from Healers Grove to Justice Shrine. Nathradan." We found Nathradan at the passage, he was a meer with a light brown cloak. He told us of orcs attacking the Juka in Mistas, Fynn said we should see what was happening however Nathradan told us to be very careful. We headed south towards Mistas and were ambushed by Juka. We rushed over to city of Mistas and found the place engulfed in orcs and dragons. We battled at the gate to Mistas and slowly made our way in. After a short fight Fynn yelled "Pull Back" some others went further into Mistas, The other half of us went outside the city to Fynn. We gathered outside Mistas and people soon reported the place was full of Dragons, Drakes, Ettins and Orcs. We soon discovered we had invaded their city instead of trying to help, Fynn was worried we may have made the situation worse. The Orcs were not battling against the Juka, they were working together... Only time will tell why they have teamed up. Suddenly in the middle of our discussion the orcs came from the city and attacked. We pulled back further and gathered south of the city entrance, Fynn asked we head back to Lakeshire where we found the note. At Lakeshire Ariane Du Bris told Fynn the Orcs came from the Justice Moongate. They had possibly entered the moongate via their moongate devices, Similar to those recently found in Yew and Trinsic. Discussion ended there and Fynn requested we head back to Britain. (I had to leave at this point so perhaps someone who went to Britain can carry on what was said.)

Yew Attacked by Orcs

On Friday a mysterious device was found on the road south of Stonekeep, Yew. Along with that Traveler discovered a book inside Mericles cave which mentioned an attack on Yew at '8 o clock sun time'. These had me worried over the weekend and on Sunday I received a tip the attack would be that night. At Sunday, A little after 7:45 I headed towards Yew, It seemed quiet and I thought the best place to stay was near the mysterious device on the road. At around 7:55 the Commander of the Royal Guard, Fynn Barrett arrived and asked myself and a few others who had arrived what this device was. Sir Bolo mentioned to Fynn that there was a note just south of the odd device. We walked over and Fynn read the note. Lady Flame had taken copies of notes found in Mericles cave and placed them on the ground for Fynn and everyone else to read, Fynn seemed confused by the Orcish language and just as he was asking a question an Orc Gate Technician came down from the road. After the Orc had been killed we rushed over to the device on the road, A moongate was now glowing. On further inspection it was an 'Orcish Moongate' and lead to the Orc camp just west of Cove. Suddenly the gate made a noise and a large collection or Orcs and Ettins appeared. The battle was on. First came small orcs, then orcish mages and onto orc brutes. After a good 10 minutes they stopped coming from the moongate and we healed the wounded and gathered up near the gate. We slowly went through the moongate and found an Orc Gate Commander and Orc Gate Guardians. After the Orcs stopped coming to us at the mountain we went south, further into the camp. Finally, It appeared we had the Orcs killed. Inside one of the rooms we found a book titled 'Orders'. It had both an Orcish and English order. 'You must secure the release of Big Bob from Britannia Prison'. A guardsmen from Yew stated Big Bob was held at the prison, We rushed over to the Yew Prison via the moongate the orcs had created. Big Bob spoke heavy Orcish and seemed to say the orcs would destroy our cities. The Royal Guard Commander Fynn Barrett took his leave and told us to try question Big Bob further and if we found anything out to report it straight to him.

When his feet touched the cobbles of the city he paused a moment and looked down the road. Britain, you are truly the most beautiful city in the entire Kingdom! Earlier that day Avery, Commander of the Royal Guard, had summoned him to the castle and appointed him to his new post: The Guard Tower at the western Bank, right at the heart of the city. His mission was to defend its citizens and to sharpen the skills of the Royal Guard. The sunlight reflected from his shield as he turned on his heels to follow the road along the moat. I am ready! [Report] O*T's Halloween Net Toss

Gates opened at 8:45pm to Buccaneer's Den for O*T's second event, Their first Net Toss. With over 70 normal nets and 15 fabled nets collected 9pm arrived and it was time to start the Mayhem.. START THE MAYHEM! Lesson learned.. 70 nets only lasts 20 minutes! At 9:20pm we were tossing the final few nets in. Alpha was asking to be mentioned in the report.. So I couldn't say no.. Here she is! Finally at 9:25pm we thanked everyone for coming. We hope some of you managed to walk away with an artifact, Out of the 15 fabled nets dropped with the one character he got none! I guess he isn't very lucky... Thank you all for coming!

[Report] Finding the Trammel Demons..

Nathan walked into the Nujelm Theater bang on 8pm and got straight to the point, The plan was to Exorcise the demons from Mericles soul. A witch named Mizara Khan had agreed to help Nathan by pulling the demons from Mericles body. Each demon was in a separate dungeon in Trammel and contained a book with keyword, and a 'Soul Shard'. We had 30 minutes to search the realm and kill these 7 demons. I ran to Covetous first and found a black balron named 'Covetous'. After the battle I discovered a 'Soul Shard' on the corpse and Ash who was also fighting the monster had received a book with the keyword 'REL'. I moved to Deceit and arrived rather late as the balron for that dungeon had been killed. After a wait at Nujel'm others started arriving back and so far 4 keywords have been found from the 7 dungeons. (Check the next reply for updated keywords) Nathan stated we were to return on Sunday where we would continue the quest.

O*T's Halloween Net Toss

After the fantastic O*T Great Naked Ilshenar Race we are holding another event! This event may smell a bit fishy, but you could potentially be walking away with a ghost anchor or sea horse! This Saturday the 24th of October at 9pm UK Time (10pm CEST) at Buccaneer's Dock, Trammel O*T will be holding the 'Halloween Net Toss'. Over 50 normal fishing nets and many fabled fishing nets will be tossed into the water, spawning water elementals, deep sea serpents, krakens and the mighty Leviathan! [Story] The Archbishop's Tale

Archbishop Thomas Lord was drenched in sweat. He had been fearing the worse since he had been given the Coronation service to perform. The Church was not about to listen to the insane ramblings of one of its failed brethren about a prophecy and the killings. This was a new dawn and the people needed to see the Queen crowned in public and not hidden away or dealt with in secrecy. The people had come from across the lands to witness the ceremony and for this, at least, Thomas was happy. Being somewhat short of faith at times he was convinced that the assassins were everywhere and would be only too grateful to stop the service with a single poison-tipped arrow from a balcony... or something like that. Making his way back to his rooms he felt the presence before he saw it and he had the sense to not turn round and confront it but to run with all his speed. Through a door. He bolted it and continued through the maze of corridors that made up the Royal Castle. He heard the crashing and splintering of wood and steel as the door was broken down and the roar of his killer. He called for the Guards who quickly mobilised and began to lock doors and seal off areas of the castle as Thomas ran through. There was death in the castle that night but Thomas was determined that his secret would not die with him. Archbishop Thomas Lord decided to travel North to seek shelter and speak of this to his old friend... -------------------------------------------------------------------- Some time later, and more composed, Thomas sat down opposite his old friend and they spoke for a long time about the past, the present and the future. Thomas knew he was short of time and that there was nowhere left to run. Except perhaps... but for now he decided to sleep rough in the woods and to make better plans when he was able.
