| Bag Art Contest! -Deadline: 10/30/09 | |

We are looking for the most creative people in UO to create a piece of art that will be displayed in the rewards hall. There will only be a top winner. To have a chance at winning please create an original piece of bag art and then take a screen shot of it. Crop the image to only show the bag, and the art within, and send it in an E-mail to: Aname@uoem.net and EMAutolycus@gmail.com. At the end of the month we will select a winner and it will then be locked down in the rewards hall and an honourable mention will be placed to dignify the winner.
For those who do not know what “bag art” is, it is taking different items from within the game and placing them inside a backpack or a bag to create an image, symbol or scene. An extremely simple version of bag art is using gold and silver coins to make symbols or words. However a more advanced would be having grey, blue and yellow cloth with rocks and other items to create a sun rise/set.
There is no theme for this event let your imagination run wild. You may enter as many pieces of art as you wish. The Dead-Line is Friday October 30th. We look forward to seeing all the entries and may your best be done.

 We will be holding a PvP competition Saturday October 24 at 8pm CST.
It will be a team free-for-all. Teams of 3 will fight it out until only 1 team remains.
NO PETS OR SUMMONS will be allowed in the fight. This is due to the confined nature of the fighting area.
No mounts, flying, or mount-speed animal forms are allowed.
Other than that, anything goes. This will not be a spectator event. If you are not a registered team, you will not get to see the fight, unfortunately. This is to prevent interference.
Team registration:
Please send an e-mail to emautolycus@gmail.com, or simply reply to this posting, with the names, guild, and fighting style of your 3 primary team members, as well as up to 2 backups in the case that one of your primaries is a no-show. A team name is also encouraged, for the winning team will get recognition for their achievement.
A future posting will be made, before the competition, with details on meeting locations and such. Until then, get your teams registered! |

Sorry for the short notice on this, folks. I will be trying my darnedest today to get the word out, since I have only given you all a one day heads up.
Tomorrow, Wednesday September the 23nd (at 8pm CST), will be the meeting between the acting Queen of Britannia, Dawn, and Queen Zhah of the Gargoyle. Come and witness this historic contact between Britannia and Ter Mur. It will take place in the Castle British throne room.
Also, an escort guard of Britannians has been requested for Queen Zhah. This escort should comprise of 8 bodies. Tomorrow at 6pm CST I will make a posting with a location and a specific item. The first 8 people to show me said item at said location will be chosen for the Guard. Not very original, I know, but its fair. So, keep your eyes peeled here at 6pm CST tomorrow if you wish to be a part of this escort for Queen Zhah.

Well, we got a few great submissions for the reconstruction of the Lake Superior Hall of Champions. It took much thought, and a great deal of debate, but in the end there was really only one submission that truly captured what was needed in an award hall.
Congratulations Nathan Winfall! Nathan’s design best captured both a sense of style and functionality. We think as our new Hall, this design will serve us well for a long time to come.
Construction on the Hall has been started, and we hope to have it completed quite soon.
