In the headlines today.
The struggle to free Trinsic continues as loyal citizens keep up relentless pressure on the hordes of Minax. The fighting continues to build in intensity in Britain, Cove and Yew. The observation from most of the veteran warriors has been that the strength of the monsters has been increasing rapidly. The search for Lord British, although unabated, has take a second priority to the needs of survival. Many still hold out hope that our liege remains alive. In Cove there was a tragic loss of life today. A small fishing boat suddenly sank and almost all crew were lost. Grandmaster fisherman Gabriel was the only survivor. When asked what went wrong, Gabriel answered, "Well, it was a good day for fishing. We had caught a ton of fish. That's what did us in. Chef Chang was busy cutting up those fish into streaks and well, once we had 80-90 thousand steaks our boat began to sink." In the rest of the news, the riverside wedding of Lady Shiela and Lord Wendell was cancelled earlier this week due to a drunken grizzly bear. It seems that the majority of the wedding champagne was accidentally spilled into the river, thus severely intoxicating the bear, a number of emboldened mongbats, and a variety of other small and usually harmless creatures. The wedding was later described by the preacher as, "a beautiful, serene experience filled with drunken animal carnage." And that's the news for today.
