Yes, CrawWorth has been the stories "hero" since day one. It was his father that was murdered by an FoA members poisoned dagger, and yes, it was him who was supposedly captured and interrogated.... however... there lies in this huge, mixed up tale, some evidence that occurred to me (only when someone mentioned it openly on the U.Hall) that seems to point to CrawWorth being THE mole.. THE inside man..
Evidence (Yes, it's ALL circumstantial)
- What better reason to set your own adopted father up for murder if he had somehow stumbled upon your recent evil activities? Hartham's death may have just been the first attempt by an evil man to conceal his own operation... namely.. the destruction of Britannia.
- CrawWorth's "Hiatus" in the middle of this entire story was never explained fully.
- The "-W" sightings have STOPPED since CrawWorth left for the new lands.
- CrawWorth's supposed captivity was in the lands ruled by G'Thunk's merry band... might it have been, in truth, an act of G'Thunks vengeance? The other dead body at the scene of his supposed capture was indeed a troll's corpse....
- All the captured messages/books from former Zog/FoA members have ALWAYS been forwarded into the hands of CrawWorth. Has anything come of them? Has any evidence from the books been made public?
- It was many times CrawWorth himself that led bands of people to their deaths against Zog Members, CrawWorth himself never showed up at some of these occurences.
Of course, we have no motive right now. CrawWorth was supposedly raised a "man of the virtues", and there's simply nothing in his background to justify this kind of behavior. He was rescued by Hartham from a bloodthirsty band of orcs who had slain CrawWorth's parents. Disregarding the lack of clear motive, many facts in this entire story point to CrawWorth as being "the man" behind all the in-game evil of the past year.
