Menu Options
User Settings

This section is to explain the User Settings and the options available to players in the SA Client. To get to this section either press the “ESC” button on your keyboard or click on the Main menu button then click “User Settings”. 
Players can edit the following things:

   •Graphics
   •Input
   •Sound
   •Options
   •Legacy
   •Filters

Graphics

This is where players can customize the graphic settings for their computers. Currently the default graphic settings are:
   •Windowed mode
   •800x600 or 1024x768 Resolution (depending on computer specs)
   •Show window Frame
   •Brightness 0.5
   •Show Foliage
   •Show Shadows
   •Particle Detail High
   •Particle filter all
   •Idle Animation
   •Animation settings High
If players are getting low frames per second (FPS) they can adjust all of these settings to work with their computer.  Some suggestions on getting a higher FPS would be:
   •Adjust to a lower resolution
   •Hide Foliage
   •Hide shadows
   •Particle detail 
      oLow
      oMedium
   •Particle filter
      oPlayer/Target
      oParty/Target
      oNone
   •Idle animation off 
   •Animation 
      oMedium
      oHigh

Input

This section is for the Mouse and Key bindings.  The default for the mouse wheel is zoom in and out. Players can adjust this to:

   •Zoom In
   •Zoom Out
   •Cursor Target
   •Cycle Last
   •None

These adjustments can be made for either scrolling up or scrolling down. Key bindings can be set to Legacy default, MMO default, or custom settings. To customize the settings single left click the key and type in the new key you would like for that action. There will be a confirmation window to ask if you would like to keep the change. 

Sounds

By default all sounds are enabled at 100%. Players can adjust or turn off the Master Volume, Effects, and Music. There’s a separate option to turn off footsteps. 

Options
In this section players can adjust game options, Interface, Language, and chat. 

Game options:
   •Always Run
   •Always Attack
   •Query befor criminal actions
   •Hold shift to unstuck items

Interface

Players can adjust the following components of their User Interface:
   •Use Custom UI
   •Enable UI Scale
      oAdjust the scale
   •Container View
      oGrid
      oList
   •Corpse View
      oGrid
      oList
   •Object Handle Filter
      oDynamic
      oCorpse
      oNPC
      oNPCVendor
      oMobiles
   •Object handle quantity
      o50
      o100
      o200
      o300
      oAll
   •Always show Health, Mana, and Stamina
   •Tooltips
   •Tip of the day (New Client only)

Chat

Players can keep the chat window and choose to chow the overhead chat and the delay of this chat in the chat section. 

Legacy

By default the legacy chat mode and Targeting are enabled. Players can also enable Containers so that the bags will look just like they do in the Classic client.

Filters

By default the “Filter Obscenity” is not checked. If players would like to filter obscene words they can do so in this section. If there are certain players they no longer want to hear from players can be added to their ignore list. 

To add a player to the ignore list:
   •Click add
   •Target player
   •Player added to the list

To remove this just simply left click on the name once and choose delete.
