| For those who don't "get it": It kinda requires having read the gamespot article about the lawsuit, which states that a settlement was reached in which neither side admits guilt or liability, and that OSI is to pay out $15,000 dollars to a museum. Each side pays for their own legal fees as well. It all seemed like such a big waste to me, since nothing was accomplished, both sides were out money, and somehow a third-party ends up being the one paid-off to get the lawsuit dropped. This really struck me odd, so I had a third-party, some nameless guy passing by, be the one to receive the gold, and nothing else gets accomplished at all. :-) |
