Last night someone paged with a rather vague question (I think). I arrived on the scene, and he was red, as you often see in this land. I didn't recognise either the .where coordinates or the radar map. He wanted to know the nearest gate to Buccaneer's Den. There are two that I know of, one near Vesper. I thought about it, then told him to try to get to the gate near Vesper, halfway between there and Covetous. So I then go about answering questions in the queue,
and his name pops up again about halfway down the list. So I go to him and neither he nor I have any idea where he is. I send .where coordinates to SRCs Teserax and Drax; Drax told me that I was quite a way from Vesper and the route I would need to go there. The problem is that that involved passing by several guard zones, none of those places being friendly to Murderers. A dilemma. We talked and all tryed to solve this for about 1/2 hour or so; I asked him to wait while I looked around. It turns out we were just South of the Chaos Shrine. OK, at least we know where we are. So I take him to the shrine just so we both know where we are; it's getting pretty late so we both have to go to sleep. He asked how much time per kill he would have to get off; I said 8 consecutive hours. I suggested that he might want to macro away from town as to not disturb people; he said that he didn't believe in that, which I found to be rather cool; he's pretty noble and very brave to be red. I'm sure he'll page again when we need to re-figure this out.
