[Intro Music]

Bundor Bard:

Crisis in Britannia, Day 43.
Hello, I'm Bundor Bard and you're listening to Britannia Network News.
In the headlines today.
Success for Sir Geoffrey. He and Lord Iolo have ambushed an enemy patrol near Yew and captured an orc. According to Sir Geoffrey, the orc has not yet revealed much information. It has spoken of its 'Dark Mistress' and seems determined not to fail or disobey her. The prisoner will be taken to the city to await questioning by Lord British and his advisors. We'll be right back after these words.

[Blowing wind sound]

Male voice:

You thought you were safe. [Male crying out sound] You thought your life was secure; your family protected. You were wrong, there is no safety; no protection from Shame. [Lightning cracks] [Sobbing sounds] It Came from Shame, the new thriller, performed by the Lower Companions' Players now on stages everywhere throughout the realm. It Came from Shame. In a dungeon everyone can hear you screaming. [Loud screams]

Bundor Bard:

In the rest of the news, the reinforcement army from Lord British continues to march on the enemy held City of Trinsic. A confidential source on British's military staff says the army should reach the city walls sometime in the next four or five days. In Ocllo, several hundred citizens of all classes and ranks have vanished without a trace. It's rumored they were all attempting to recreate Grandmaster Mage Phillo's attempt to raise the dead. Mr.. Phillo vanished in Minoc while attempting the spell on Monday in full view of several witnesses. And that's the news. I'm Bundor Bard for BNN.
