Why the name Angel for a character and what type of character is she?
Angel is a beginning inscriptionist created over 2 years ago that just never got played much. She was originally created for a dear friend I met online by the name of Cosmic Charlie of the KET guild. Cosmic and I had many adventures together before he had to tend to r/l issues. Now however Angel is proud to be the proprietor of "The Whispering Winds", a community vendor house dedicated to the Whispering Winds community and all of the land.

How long have you been playing UO and how did you first hear of this game?
I originally entered the game, oh gosh.. 5 years ago and purchased the game as a reward to myself for receiving a 4.0 in my first college course. It was Film Appreciation and has ever since helped me from leaving the room during scary movies. "Although I'd be more then happy to get snacks and refreshments during those scenes" hehe. As for hearing about the game.. I wasn't even aware it was an online game, the original designs on the box just looked interesting and coaxed me into purchasing it. After finding out it was an online game, it sat for a month until a friend came over and expressed an interest and so he set it up for me and I've been online since.

We recently meet at my newly relocated and designed Evil Garden in Luna. This garden is located on a plot that was onced owned by a very active player on Great Lakes by the name of Purple. You stated Purple helped you out when you first started playing. How did you meet her and how did she help you?
I met Purple while doing the fishermans quest in haven. I was roaming the swamps with my paints looking for something and come upon Purples old shop North of Trinsic just as she was collecting her goods for her move into Luna. I always browse the shops I see and we started talking and I asked her just how people were able to raise so much gold for all the new items in the game. I guess we just sorta got along or she felt a little sorry for me roaming around doing the quests and she invited me to see her new Luna home. She also helped me by giving me a vendor at her new home and allowed me to be the hide vendor at her shop. I made several million gold at the time since the bods had just come out and hides were in big demand. I also got to be involved with the Luna community and meet Ultima as well as chat with other owners of vendors. It was an awesome experience for myself to meet such big icons in the game. Even though I was still such a little person.



You have a new vendor house in the Whispering Winds community.
Have you been a resident of Whispering Winds for a long time and why were you drawn to this area?
The community of Whispering Winds is a wonderful community, I've been a member of the community since Malas was introduced. Personally, I love collecting things and one of the silly items that got me involved within Whispering Winds was collecting cotton from its cotton field. At one time, I had collected over 5400 bales of cotton with no way to move it from my small tower to the bank. I've probably been the only person ever to ask for the cotton bales to be deedable. :)

The vendor house I have I wanted to be something that would serve the community of Whispering Winds as well as the guilds that live there. Often people run thru the community and never even know they've been to Whispering Winds.. so I named the shop "The Whispering Winds", to compliment the role play community and to announce to those that stop and shop that they've been to Whispering Winds.

Your vendor house is only about a week old. Have you had a vendor house before and have you run into any challenges yet with this new vendor house?
Yes, the vendor house is offically been open a week. In the past I had owned Minoc Supply, a small shop by the roadside just as you entered minoc, and decided to keep my accounts closer and so opened up "The Whispering Winds". The biggest challenge of having a vendor house here is that no one yet knows it exists. Attracting vendors is another problem since the only traffic so far are those attracted by the cotton field. The house, I hope soon, will be able to cater to those seeking adventure by provided runes to favorite dungeons, supplies and magic as well as offerings to those in the trades of the lands.

Lady Lava is always looking for new and creative designs in the realm. On the roof of your house you have created a pirate flag by raising bones which I had never seen before. Had you seen this done before or was this your idea?
Arrgh..the pirate flag was inspired from my deep conviction to one day own a pirate house. The house itself was originally created to be a boat but laughing and giggling during the design process didn't help and so it become a vendor house with a pirate flag. The flag design come from a while back when I had come across a plantation home with a solid red flag with a plant pot raised over it to reflect its signage. Bones for a pirate flag just seemed to reflect a pirates home.



I also saw pots on your roof. Do you plan to grow plants up there? If so what type and have you grown plants in the past?
I know this is probably old times for the area and land now but at one time many people come to Whispering Winds just to use the fields for hunting vorpal bunnies. These 'bunny hunters' helped form the community as well as brought alot of people to the farms for wealth and sport. The plants on the roof are there to supply green thorns and sport to the community and are also sold in the shop. Green thorns may also be used for regents and attaining vines for decorating.

You also have a character by the name of Lexus. Where do Angel and Lexus spend most of thier time on Great Lakes?
Angel is the caretaker for "The Whispering Winds" and spends most of her time attaining to vendors and collecting and selling cotton from the surrounding field. Lexus on the other hand is part secret shopper, part roaming collector. Alot of the items in the shop come from Lexus's adventures while Angel on the other hand inscribes scrolls and keeps up the plants and neighbors aquarium. So I guess you get to see a little of the domestic me in both my characters and play.

What is your favorite color?
Yellow and Orange.

What was the last movie you saw?
"The Wedding Date" I'm a romantic at heart.

What was the last book you read?
hahaha.. don't judge me.. but.. "The Goal, A process for ongoing improvement".. its a business book that reads like a novel. It was kinda romantic in a way.

What area/location in the game do you think is the most beautiful?
Definitely Trammel.. I love to walk the waters edge and look at the sea.

What area/location do you think is the most beautiful in the real world that you have been to?
Growing up in the central U.S. its hard to say at the moment. As of yet I haven't been able to say I've seen a real mountain, the Atlantic or Pacific oceans. I think the Ozarks are pretty, but I also like to look out over the fields here in the mornings or evenings and just day dream and chat.

If you were to die and come back as an animal which animal would it be and why?
It would definitely have to be a bird of some sort. Not a Penquin.. :) Birds are so free they can go most anywhere and see most anything. Yes, a bird would be for me.

What is your motto?
This is not really a motto but a wish to please care for our enviroment, to please support our military in their efforts, and to please aid those in their time of need and stay true to ones self.
