It is that time again folks. Thanksgiving is right around the corner and that means Christmas is not far behind.

Last night I planned on taking in an early movie between hunts and headed out to see " Ray ", then noticed it had already started.
Making a fast U turn, which are legal in California, I headed for the IMAX Theatre. To my surprise and delight " The Polar Express " was showing there. Not only was I going to see it in an IMAX Theatre the movie was being shown in 3D. After paying the $9.50 to get in, positioning the 3D glasses on my head, I settled down for a marvelous adventure. I had no idea what the movie was about and I was thrown into the joyous time of Christmas.

Leaving the theatre the temp was 72 degrees and palm trees surrounded me but that did not damper the Christmas feeling the movie had given me. A quick ride home and into the realm I went. With that Christmas/Winter feeling in my heart I headed to the castle on Ice owned by MOA, and home of Monday Night Madness.

Looking about the castle and viewing the Autumn decor I had helped design weeks ago I started removing it as I hummed Christmas tunes to myself. Within an hours time I had transformed the front of the castle into a winter wonderland. Whipstitch happened by while I was in the middle of my holiday bliss and lent snowflakes and a few plants for my design. Again thank you Whipstitch.

Christmas could never be Christmas without Santa Claus. With that said...todays guest is the jolly old soul himself...the man in red...the white bearded wonder...the one who sees you when you are sleeping...the one who knows when you are awake...well you get the picture.

Santa has been around a very long time and has been very
active in the land of the Great Lakes. Will Santa be giving away gifts at MOA this year like he has in the past?
Most likely, but what everyone seems to foget is that during the
holidays I've been known to run all over handing out gifts. Even in
Felucca and have left gifts in people's houses when I can't find anyone around. My favourite was a couple years ago when people actually stopped fighting in Buc's Den Felucca to get their Xmas gifts (yes even reds get xmas presents) : )

We also do our best to hand out gifts on other shards such as Lake
Superior.

What other holiday events or good deeds does Santa have up his
sleeve for the upcoming season?
We have a very large and most likely very laggy event ELF is working on for something fun this Xmas in addition to the usual running around handing things out. Please remember, while I can't give out specifics yet, lag will be an issue, and I want people to know that in advance so all know to expect it. I promise it will be worth enduring the lag : )
We also just go around making things and handing them out for no reason at all. Monty Hall of ELF (not related to Monty Hall of MOA but they have been known to work together) has been known to do what he calls "Instant IDOC" where he loads up with items and drops them all at once in some location where people are gathered (I will admit much of it is not the greatest, but there are usually a fair amount of nice items in those too). Other guild members do other things too, depending on what their crafting skills are.

With the Samurai Empires influence on our lands will this
holiday season have an asian flare to it?
Of course some of the items this year crafted for presents will be from new items in the expansion, can't leave anyone out : )

We rarely hear about Mrs. Claus. I have always wanted to
know....Does Mrs. Clause really like the elves or just tolerates
them?
Mrs. Claus likes the elves, just hates feeding them all the time. They can eat in one sitting as much as your average army eats in a week!

What is you secret in keeping your Santa-esque figure?
FRUIT CAKE!!

Do you actually like fruit cake?
HO HO HO!!! : )

You are always giving gifts. Do you ever get gifts yourself other
than milk and cookies?
Oddly enough, yes. Once in a while some one will offer something for our museums or just something to give to other people, which is always nice : ) One year some one even gave game time to me in the form of red and green holiday gift cards.

How do you know who is naughty and who is nice?
I have a very large spy network that includes members of REA, HD, MOA, and other guilds. Plus many friends that do everything from bank sitting to taming and ming. Then there are the alternate characters of ELF staff members who watch and see what goes on. All combined, I am usually well informed : )

Excluding Christmas what is your favorite holiday?
All of them from Kwanza to Easter to Boxer Day to Hanukkah and Chinese New Year. I must admit though, I have a special liking for events with lots of fireworks : )

What is your favorite Christmas carol?
I'm not sure that I have a favourite one. Maybe Oh Tanenbaum.

We know you love red and green. What is your favorite non
holiday color?
Since there are so many holidays around the world, I can't really say. I think every colour I know of is represented as a holiday colour some place in the world.

Where is your house located?
In a place I call Xmas valley, next to Honesty Shrine on Dagger Island (Ice Island) Great Lakes. A cabin with a memorial in front left by players missing friends, family and others who have either passed on or left the game. There's a book on the porch there explaining it.

When do you decorate your house for the holidays or is it
Christmas all year around?
While I would like to have it decorated year round, I never seem to get it redone after the holiday season is over and trees forced to be taken down. I would dearly love to be able to have a tree or two up there year round, or even better yet an Xmas tree in the valley near the cabin. Don't you think a tree would look nice there? One little tree by Honesty shrine to finally have something growing on amongst all the ice and some ornaments on it : )

Where do you stable your reindeers and do they get anything
special for Christmas?
Only one reindeer anymore, Rudolph, and he got severely frostbitten on dagger island in Felucca a couple years ago. Ever since then he's been pretty much blue in colour, and has gained a lot of weight and gotten even bigger then me. He is currently stabled in Luna stables since it's easy for me to get to the stables from the gate there.
