As always I am on the hunt for interesting design and talented players on Great Lakes. Often players send me PMs or emails suggesting I check out certain locations.

Several months ago I did a report on the city of Zento. Since then something new has been erected and several players have brought it to my attention. It is the Zento White House owned by Wallace.

After chatting with Wallace it was apparent English was not his first language. With French as his first language and living in Canada I thought it amazing he would create an American Insitution as his home in the realm.

Today his Zento White House is featured and I asked Wallace a few questions about his inspirations.



After several players suggested I check out your plot called "Zento White House", I did just that today. It was
a shock to me to find out a player from Quebec Canada
made a White House in the game. What was your inspiration
for doing this?
That was just for fun...I'm amazed! I didn't expect that
anyone would tell you about my White House in Zento! Quebec
and USA have some similarities and one of them is their
peoples...in Quebec,people are proud and courageous and
they fight for their independance ,just like Americans!

As a woman that loves design, the front walls of your
house are beautiful. How long did it take you to design this house?
I have to confess something...and as my wife is looking at
the screen at the moment ;0)...She helped me a lot to create
the house design. She takes time to visit other shards and
took some ideas from other players..and, after 3 hours of
patience and work, the White House was born!!



As with any great house there is a huge library on the
first floor. Who composed this library and where can the
books take us?
It's 4 years of travel in Sosaria and a lot of work
from my old guildmates, and I'm proud to give, to all UO
players the opportunity to use the library. From towns to
Dungeons and Islands to Daily rares spawners, everybody can
find what he want!

As with many government run department there is a emphasis on health and physical fitness. The second floor of the White House has a Dojo. Do you use this room for sparring or relaxation?
For relaxation, and as the House is in Zento it was impossible, for me, to negligeated this aspect of deco.

First Ladies need their time in the lime light and thier space. The third floor is your wifes area. Is this an in game wife or real life wife you share the house with?
She's my real life wife and the First Lady of my heart!
She uses that room for plant growing and seed storage.
Plants produced in the White House are put in her vendor
house named Luna's White House, just 2 screens west of Luna.

The roof is a huge American Flag that can be seen on the map from a good distance away. Was this your idea or had you seen it done before someplace in game?
I've seen done before in the game. The idea to put the
American Flag has come along with the house name...And it's
a great emblem for the House!



On the outer edge of the house you pay tribute to some very famous people....Jimmy Carter, Bill Clinton, George Washington, Ronald Reagan and John F. Kennedy. How did you make this selection?I sincerly think they were models and inspirations for
all the Country. They mark their periods and mandates with
their love for the USA. That's my little Hall Of Fame!



With all this great design and patriotic thoughtfulness I found it puzzeling you belong to a guild called " Murder Inc". Please tell us why that name and why that guild?
Long time ago,I planned on being "red"...my best friend
found that name in a book and we take that name as our guild
name. But, we plan to change our guild name to something
that promote the White House...any Ideas??

The house owner and one of your characters is named Wallace. Is he named after the infamous Governor Wallace from the south? If not then what was the inspiration for the name?
No. As many other Wallace are in game I was inspired by
the movie Braveheart (Mel Gibson). That name inspire Loyalty, Courage and Love; 3 of the most important things in life!.

July 4th is not that far off. Do you plan to do anything special at the White House for this holiday?
Sure! I plan to make that house a theme house (U.S.A history) and a Vendor mall..dont worry I have some great ideas!
