Join me in learning a little about Willaim's UO history.




How long have you been playing UO and how did you first hear of this game?
My main account is 75 months old but i did play UO on someone elses account for a while.

Was Sir Willaim the first character you created?
Sir Willaim was the first character I made. He was once an archer that is why it is Willaim instead of William.

You are the GM of the Ktf Guild. This guild has been around a long time. Many Ktf members left after AoS. Why do you think that was?
We had about 29 members leave after AoS, which is when I took over. We only had 6 surviving members. I think alot of them left because they worked so hard to advanced there characters and then in a single exspansion half the skills they trained in were no longer what they needed for their characters.

Ktf stands for Keeper of the Flame. What was the original idea behind this name and does it still hold true with the guild today?
The Flame that is refered to in the name of this guild is the inner flame that connects all the members of Ktf to one another.

What do you like the most about being the GM of a large guild?
I like interacting with many people and learning more and more about each member everyday.

What do you like the least about being a GM?
Sometimes the combination on real life and running a guild does not allow for a lot of time doing things I would normally do myself.

How many members are in Ktf at this time?
About 200

When not doing GM duties for the guild where does Sir Willaim spend most of his time?
hhhmm.....
Well I am always doing something guild related so you can usually find me somewhere with a swarm of KTFers. Chillin at the bank or beating up on the almighty dread horn.

If you could change one guild aspect about this game what would it be?
I wish I had more control over the ranking system and better control on what each ranking actually does and does not do.

Does the guild have a uniform or guild colors?
Nope

Is there a guild house and if so where is it located and who is the owner?
We have 2 guild houses and are currnetly working on a third in fel.
One is owned by myself by the swamps of Destard this is where the guild stone is and one is owned by my gf south of Luna. This is our guild shop and meeting house and the third one will be a pvp headquarters.

When not playing UO what hobbies do you have?
Collecting dvds and video games, playing with my daughter of 10 months, working, cooking, and watching CSI.

If you would come back as an animal after you died in real life what would you be?
A wolf

Who are your heros in real life?
My biggest hero is myself. I am proud of what I have done and what I hope to do. Not everything has happened as planned but I still have a smile on my face.

What is your motto?
My UO motto is: We pay for it all lets play it. That is for all you people afraid of fel.
My RL motto is: Happiness is not a feeling it is where you are at.
