The pre-built houses not marked with an * may be converted into customisable plots of the same size, through the house menu. The tower can be converted, but the space taken up by the 'wings' east and west of the building will be lost, and the resulting plot will be a 16x14.

The official UO playguide has images of these houses.

Customisable plots

This table shows the costs and total available storage of the available customisable plots. The available number of lockdowns is always half of the available storage.

The plots marked in yellow can have 3 stories plus a roof built upon them, the smaller plots can have 2 stories plus a roof.

Storage and Lockdowns

The numbers given for 'Storage' and 'Lockdowns' given in these tables and shown in the House placement tool menu, mean the following:

Storage: The total amount of items that can be stored in your house: items in secured containers, items on vendors, locked-down items, etc.

Lockdowns: The maximum number of items that can be locked down in your house. These are items that you have locked down using the 'Iwish to lock this down' command, and items inside locked-down (but not secured) chests. Note that the locked-down items count towards your total storage count as well!

The Storage page on the house menu gives you information on the maximum storage and lockdowns, as well as the amounts currently in use in your house.
