Items & Artifacts: Historical

This section is devoted to the quest items pertaining to the "main plot" of Ultima Online that while usually not in players' hands are still of historic interest. The main plot is the ongoing storyline that explains the creation of the shards and has so far lead to the discovery of The Lost Lands (T2A - The Second Age) and also the the mass exodus to the new facet "Trammel" in the Renaissance. The latest episode of this is the discovery of the Ilshenar facet.

Item: Relics of Mondain
	Description: The remains of Mondain the Wizard. He was defeated at the hands of a stranger from the stars. The Relics of Mondain were on display for some time so that we would not forget how close we came to destruction. Reference:

Item: Gem of Immortality
	Description: The Gem of Immortality was used by Mondain the Wizard to control Sosaria. When destroyed it lead to the creation of the shards or mirror images of Sosaria in which we live. Reference:
Properties and Attributes: Seemingly infinite power.

Item: Bell of Courage
	Description: The Bell of Courage has been mentioned in Ultima Online history, but it existed long before. Sage Humbolt used it to create a potion that would allow him to consume the hearts of the evil liches, Lathiari and Kyrnia. It is a lengendary artifact, along with the Candle of Love and the Book of Truth. Together, these three items are the embodiment of the three Principles that form the Virtues. Item: Book of Truth
	Description: Like the Bell of Courage and the Candle of Love, the Book of Truth comes from previous Ultima lore. It is the symbol of the Principle of Truth. Reference:

Item: Candle of Love
	Description: The Candle of Love is the embodiment of the Principle of Love, and an artifact similar to the Bell of Courage and the Book of Truth. It is the symbol of the Principle of Love. Reference:

Item: Blackrock
	Description: A rare magical material which when in its pure crystalline state forms a spell reagent required to cast the Armageddon spell. Blackrock is nearly indestructable. The Zog Cabal later known as the Followers of Armageddon experiments with casting the Armageddon spell lead to the discovery of the Lost Lands. Reference:
