Bell of Courage
The Bell of Courage has been mentionned in Ultima Online history,
but it existed long before. Sage Humbolt
used it to create a potion that would allow him to consume the hearts of
the evil liches, Lathiari and Kyrnia.
It is a lengendary artifact, along with the Candle
of Love and the Book of Truth. Together,
these three items are the embodiment of the three Principles that form
the Virtues.

Blackrock
In the previous Ultimas, blackrock was used by The Fellowship
to build the Black Gate, a magical doorway that would have allowed the
Guardian
to enter Britannia physically. Blackrock was almost indestructible.
In Ultima Online, Nystul himself admits
he does not know the purpose of blackrock, nor it's relation with the Armageddon
spell. But it is clear by now that the Followers
of Armageddon are seeking blackrock actively, and we can only speculate
that it will allow them to cast that dreaded spell. Please see below
about Crystalline Blackrock for more information.

Book of Truth
Like the Bell of Courage and
the Candle of Love, the Book of Truth comes
from previous Ultima lore. It is the symbol of the Principle
of Truth. It has not been mentioned in Ultima Online yet.
Box of Dreams (Baja)
The Box of Dreams is mentionned but once, in a side-quest.
Nevertheless, it sounds like a powerful artifact, capable of influencing
the dreams of Britannians.

Candle of Love
The Candle of Love is the embodiment of the Principle of Love,
and an artifact similar to the Bell of Courage
and the Book of Truth. It has not been mentionned
in Ultima Online yet.

A staff of unknown origin, but its strength is reknown throughout
the land. It has been handed down from family member to family member in
Sage
Humbolt's family for may generations. Sage
Humbolt has graciously sacrificed this heirloom to entice the good
citizens to find the items he needs to defeat the liches Lathiari
and Kyrnia.

Crystalline Blackrock
Crystalline Blackrock is a derivative of blackrock. This
type was found in the obsidian chests guarded by obsidian wisps during
the FoA chronicles. Crystalline Blackrock contained a large number
of Teleportation charges. Please see above on Blackrock
for more information.
HammerFist
A mace hewn from a molten blob by the Bobbit hero Bonchu. Bonchu
was thought to have been the first Bobbit to single handedly strike down
an Ettin. Alas, he was not strong enough to save his race from the hideous
plague that the fiend Mondain
released upon them before the end.

Gem of Immortality
A powerful magical artifact, the jewel was originally a possession
of Wolfgang, the last king of Akalabeth. He offered it to his second son,
Mondain, in hopes that it would turn him back from the dark paths he trod.
Mondain instead slew his father for control of the Gem, and twisted its
powers to make himself immortal and wreck havoc upon Sosaria. The Gem contained
a perfect likeliness of the world, and when it was shattered by the Stranger,
reality was broken into multiple shards.
Jewel Encrusted
Warlord Sword of Vanquishing
A viking sword removed from the corpse of a Warlord that attacked
Trinsic with a horde of Lizardmen (c. summer 1998.) Deals damage
like a viking of vanquishing.
Magic Sword of Envy (Great
Lakes)
This is one of seven Swords of Sin (as part of an early Seer
Quest in 1997.) Each sword was taken from the body of a Shadow Lord,
7 dark warlords that attacked anything on sight (played by counsellors).
Each deals damage higher then a viking sword of vanquishing. Currently
resides in the Museum of Memories.
Magic Sword of Lust (Great
Lakes)
This is one of seven Swords of Sin as part of an early Seer
Quest in 1997. Each sword was taken from the body of a Shadow Lord,
7 dark warlords that attacked anything on sight (played by counsellors).
Each deals damage higher then a viking sword of vanquishing. Currently
resides in the Museum of Memories.
Orcish War Drum(Red) (Drachenfells)
A red drum. It is said there is a matching purple drum
as well.
Pain Maker (Great Lakes)
An axe known to cast random magical offensive spells on its
victim. Currently resides in the Museum of Memories.
Relics of Mondain
Mondain, the evil wizard, was
slain. But some of his body parts were kept as relics, and they probably
still contain magical energy. Each year, the relics are taken from town
to town to be displayed as a reminder of what we suffered from him. But
this year there was two attempt at stealing them, twice successful. The
first one when a monk from Empath Abbey,
Brother Olic, was taking them from Vesper
to Britain, he was attacked and captured
by orcs. Courageous heroes rescued him (and the relics) from the dungeon
Covetous. The second time, was during the Followers
of Armageddon episode. Someone stole the relics, and this time they
were not recovered. It is not sure if the thief was a member of the FOA.
Rylthynynnolinshyn
A bow named for its elven origin. Drawn tight by the great
elven bowyer Iynolinyshyn Fyrhyinjuionen (referred to as Iyno by his human
friends) this bow struck down a dragon, supposedly, with but one shot.
Although its power is diminished from those wilder times of more powerful
magic, it is still quite formidable.

SerpentBane (Pacific)
This spear was created to defeat the Ivory
Serpent, using a magical spear (spear of vanquishing) coated with a
special poison concocted by Ben Kahns,
which would prevent the Serpent from regenerating it's wounds. The name
of the weapon was etched on it by Zemaj.
The weapon was given to those who helped against the Serpent, and it's
current whereabouts are unknown.
Serpent's Bite (Pacific)
After the Ivory Serpent
was slain, 'a rusty halberd' was found inside his stomach (amongst other
things, to be sure). The halberd was cleaned and given to Wolfgar, one
of the adventurers who helped Ben Kahns
defeat the serpent.
Staff of Dar-Salaam (Great
Lakes)
A strange blue staff of unknown properties that was inscribed
with the words "Staff of Dar-Salaam" wielded by Oberon the Healer.
Oberon claimed to have found it, "between the worlds of the living and
the dead".

Sword of Annihilation (Great
Lakes)
A viking sword found on the body of a Dread Lord. Currently
resides in the Museum of Memories.
Uolinsho
A bow also crafted by Iyno. It was a gift to a human friend
who lacked the grace and finesse to wield the elves normal bows. This weapon
was a sign of the enduring friendship between elves and man.
