| The Solen are a race of giant ants made intelligent by the Meer's failed Decay spell. They have recently started appearing from their underground home. The Black Solen Matriarch is the Leader of the Black Solen Race and she can always be found in the center of their Hive in Felucca. The Matriarch has a craving for plant seeds and if you give her one she will ask you to do a few tasks for her. If you accept you will be sent to kill seven Infiltrators from the Red Solen Colony, who have been spying on the Hive. These Infiltrators can be found elsewhere in Felucca, they come in two different sizes, the Infiltrator Queen and the Infiltrator Warrior. It doesn't matter which kind you kill as long as you kill seven of them. Once you have killed the Infiltrators and return to the Matriarch she will ask you to fetch eight gallons of water, because the water supply they have down in the Hive has become poisoned. A normal glass pitcher can hold a gallon so you will need eight of those. You can buy the water from any Inn if you can't find it anywhere else. When you return to the Hive you will have to empty the pitchers into the large wats near the wall. The Matriarch will now make you a friend of the Hive and offer to transform up to 200 Zoogi Fungus into Powder of Translocation. It takes 2 Fungus to make 1 Powder. Being a friend of the hive means that none of the Black Solen will attack you unless you attack them first. If you at a later point in time wish to have more Fungus transformed, you can return to talk to the Matriarch and get the same tasks again.
