Great Noobie Ride
Submitted by Edward The Less on November 7th 2004.
The Forest Ostard is great for noobies because it's a much better fighter than a horse and just as easy to tame. After a little training fighting Brown Bears in Moonglow you can use it to fight most noobie things like Lizardmen, Harpies, Ettins, ect... It does not have a backpack like a Beetle but for a noobie it's alot cheaper, Beetles go for about 5k where as Forest Ostards go for 200gp. Rember if you don't have the Vet skill you can also use Chivalry or Magery to heal your pet.
