The Frenzied Ostard

General Information

The Frenzied Ostard is a large birdlike creature, native to the forest regions of the Lost Lands. It is very aggressive and will attack on sight. It is a favored pet of many mid-level tamers and because of its pack-instinct it will be extremely deadly when in a group.

The Frenzied Ostard comes in several different shades ranging from light brown to a dark nightmare blue.

Like the other kinds of Ostards, the Frenzied Ostard can be tamed and used as a mount.

Easy PK on TEST CENTER!

Me and two friends were messing around on TC. One friend had all 70s & lots of hp regen and hpi. He challenged us to kill him as tamers. My friend got out her cu and I got out my ozzy pack, they werent even trained. She first stuck her cu on him then I sent in the pack. It was too much for him, on TC with 120 healing/anat/wepskill/tact/parry/chiv! Just think how fast you could PK someone on a real shard!

I tame cus a lot and when paragons spawn I get my gd and grab my friend with an ostard pack of five. My gd tanks, friend sends in ostards and we both heal gd. Owned in one and a half minutes. We also hunt AWs that way in Destard, they go down in about 30-45 seconds.

They eat veggi/fruit/meat again as a new tame. So when I lost one I replaced two others. The Pre 16s can have more then 110HP. Spent a week replacing some of my pack and found nothing higher then 110HP. I have ones Pre Pub 16 that have 111HP and 114HP. Pack best thing vs Fire Rabbit

These guys are great if you are a PK. They are very good at hunting down their enemies. I had 5 with me and went and had fun down in Covetous. Liches don't stand much of a chance unless there is about 2 or 3 of them there.

Went to the Twisted Weild with a friend last night. These are great for cleaning out the Paragon Cu's. Have a buddy tame a regular Cu to take the Paragon then sick a pack of these on them and heal the tank. Takes a paragon out in a couple of minutes if you don't have a Disco Bard with you and around a minute if you can get a paragon discoed.

They're weak - but if you tame 3 of them, they're deadly, until they die. And they will die very fast!

Just tamed 4 of these guys and I must say they are a BLAST to hunt with! Gotta have decent vet/heal times but otherwise they clean house pretty good!

Excellent in packs to hunt low to medium difficulty creatures. Hard to heal against creatures with hi HP per hit. If you can heal them they are as effectve as 2 dragons!

Do not underestimate the monster mashing potential of a pack of Frenzies. They can and do kill everything from Ogre Lords to Blood Elementals..!
