The Cu Sidhe

General Information
The Cu Sidhe is a large dog like creature that can be found in the Twisted Weald.

Skilled elven tamers can tame the Cu Sidhe and use it as a mount.

Although human tamers cannot tame it, they can ride a cu sidhe when wearing the minor artifact footwear, 'pads of the cu sidhe'.

Cus DO IN FACT rez
Submitted by Anonymous on December 14th 2009.
I know all of you that are CONVINCED cus can't rez, won't believe me, but THEY CAN REZ. If they have high enough healing and anatomy, set a bandage, die, then the bandage finishes, it will rez themself or you. Mine has not rezzed me before, but I have seen it rez itself in Destard when two GDs ganked it. If you die, then cu starts to heal you, it won't work but they will try.

In short, Cus can in fact rez, at least themselves, I've seen it myself.

Cu Color Chances
Submitted by Anonymous on December 14th 2009.
OK, many of you are probably wondering cu color chances. well here they are, with 3 ways to name spawn chance.

The color we are ALL tired of seeing-
20,000/23301; 1 in 1.6; 85.8% chance:
1.) Regular

Worth keeping, if it's a good one-
500/23301; 1 in 47; 2.1% chance:
1.) Agapite pink (almost a peach color, barely pink)
2.) Bronze
3.) Dark Blue
4.) Dull Copper
5.) Dusty Gold
6.) Grey

The beloved rare colors-
50/23301; 1 in 446; 0.2% chance:
1.) Black
2.) Ice
3.) Pink
4.) Red
5.) White
6.) Valorite Blue (lighter than Dark blue)

And of course, the all-time favorite and most wanted:
1/23301; 0.004% chance:
1.) Blaze/Fire

A total of 14 colors.

I've already posted this on Taming Forums Board, but I thought I'd put it here too :) Happy Taming!!!

They dont rez you

As an earlier poster said. They do try tho.

Cold/Energy Damage
Submitted by Anonymous on August 9th 2009.
These tough puppies deal 50% cold and 50% energy damage, so tamers I would suggest putting together a 70 cold/75 energy resist suit to tame these, they'll only do about 28-39 damage per bite. If you can't paralyze them or use honor, easiest thing to do is set a Last Skill/Last Target macro, select taming on skills list and target the cu. Don't walk up to it, click it and click tame because the macro won't work if you do that. Hold down macro button and walk around lead taming. Stay close to dog so macro tries to tame it but try not to be bitten, I would tame on grass one because changelings shouldn't bother you two you can run away if you have to heal. I hardly ever die taming these this way. Happy taming!

Fast kills
Submitted by Anonymous on July 29th 2007.
The guy who posted low fire, it was probably disco'd and I found out on the test shard that an archer can own cu in no more than 30 seconds flat without being hit. I had a hat of the magi, high resist armor, and a rune beetle carapace. Ornament of the magician and ring of the vile. Skills were 120 archery, 120 anat, 120 tactics, 100 chiv, 120 bushido, and 120 healing. Bow had these mods 38% hit lightning 24 hci 25 ssi 51 di. I honor'd hit enemy of one and consecrate and barraged it with lightning strikes. Went from 47 dmg peak to 117 a hit and dropped fast.

Wanna tame a Doggie?
Submitted by Anonymous on June 5th 2007.
Ok I have just started taming them today, first i suggest to have taming from 105 or higher. No with them getting angry, it can be hard to tame, escpecially with their high attack. Start off setting up a macro of use skill taming last target. I have found lead taming is the best for this. Start taming lead them off the sand, don't worry if they get angry, let them. When you reach the swoops use invisability or hiding, or ask a mage with you. Now with the Cu sidhe near the swoops start taming using the macro. Walk slowly to the gate and the swoops, and when you get to either side, invis yourself. Then start going the other way, and when you past them quickly hit the macro.
When you do start taming if it is still angry invis, you will still be taming which is good. After a few attempts doing this you should have your own Cu sidhe. If you get hit by them, run quickly, heal, and invis. Then continue your taming.

Happy hunting :)

high healing fresh
Submitted by Anonymous on May 29th 2007.
I tamed one with 87.8 healing right off the bat. I've also seen ones with like 65 healing after taming. Great training letting them fight daemons, easy kills, good skill and stat gain.

Low Fire
Submitted by Anonymous on May 6th 2007.
Ive seen a cu with a fire resist of 9 before

Mine has ressurrected as well.
Submitted by Anonymous on April 1st 2007.
They can res if they are healing themselves before they die, then die, then the healing finishes (and they have high enough healing and anatomy.) Same goes for if they're healing you, and you die, and then the healing finishes.

Cannot REZ
Submitted by Anonymous on March 11th 2007.
A CU cannot Rez itself or its owner. This has been stated many times by the Devs. This information is false. A CU will only rez if Gift of Life is cast on it.

Gm Healing!
