The 'common' version of the Savage Ridgeback, as found wandering around near the savage camp in central Ilshenar.
I suspect that these Ridgebacks were supposed to use a model without the painted markings, but due to a bug in that model, they show up looking as the Savage Ridgebacks.

Answer Submitted by Anonymous on September 25th 2006. Unicorns were capable of opening gates when they were first introduced, but that was later changed because of the non-transporting nature of Illshenar.
Special skill? Submitted by Anonymous on March 28th 2006. I remember hearing once that these things opened gates to safety if their rider was badly injured and I was wondering two things; has that ever been proven, and does it still happen? Regardless of skills, these things were pretty good for raising taming until you can do Ki-rins, provided you don't mind running around Ilshenar areas with dire wolves or sand vortexes (I prefer the dire wolves through the cave near Compassion).
Soundbites are available when you see this icon in a creature's description.
All sounds are stored as MP3 files. In most cases simply clicking the icon
will play the sound. If that does not happen for you, then you need to
upgrade your Windows Media Player, or install an MP3 player such as
WinAmp. Both
MP3 players are free of charge.
